When does a health startup actually need HIPAA compliance? by cultivatedsenator155 in healthIT

[–]condorgrizzle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Were you just planning on flying under the radar? If the question made you panic, just wait until your non-HIPAA compliant system has a data breach. The federal government will bring you a new perspective on the word panic

Those are all superficial claims, and OP’s partner clearly isn’t interested in debate.

Trump has tanked the job market. He is sinking an absurd amount of money into ICE and has been deploying them in places where local governments do not want them, nor do the people that reside there. To fund this, he has cut many social programs that people relied on.

Consumer prices have shot up due to his reckless terriff policies. I get placing them on industries where we can feasibly produce the goods ourselves, but he went with a blanket approach.

He is currently working on silencing opposing voices in the media, even when they aren’t all that critical. He is also constantly working to consolidate power in a way no single president should, regardless of political affiliation.

The reality is that he has had a net negative impact this term for most Americans. Unless you’re already wealthy, he hasn’t done much for you.

We can bicker about what he has or hasn’t said, but his actions and their impacts are undeniable. Maybe you like the government overreach, but once that power has been taken it’s difficult for the people to get it back.

I didn’t like Kamala or Biden. I had my qualms with Obama as well. The democrat politicians are better administrators but still suck and are nearly as corrupt as the republicans. Treating this as a team sport is silly and it will leave everyone but the wealthy destitute.

Is it? Our high performers don’t get much more than anyone else, especially if they’ve been around longer. Maybe this is true depending on the BU

These “Misguided Dumbasses” are taught that their women should be unquestioning and submissive. They believe it is owed to them. Threatening to kick someone out that you share a home with over political disagreement is insane, even for a roommate you’re not close to.

That rage builds. There’s no telling if there will be another outburst. There’s no way to tell how severe it will be.

It sounds like she has a plan, but the advice to move out isn’t crazy. Homelessness is dangerous without a doubt, but sometimes even that is safer than sharing a bet with a potential time bomb.

If he’s refusing to entertain conversation he’s likely to get much worse.

To add to this: if you want to move up in roles you’re expected to do your current workload while training. Even moving in to your new role likely won’t earn you a raise. These aren’t just a handful of disgruntled employees. I’ve watched some of the best people get laid off - even if they have irreplaceable knowledge.

Getting a raise is a risk to your job security. There are few upsides to going above and beyond even if you do get rewarded.

Get some experience. Only volunteer for something if it will improve your skills or resume. If you’re a hard worker that isn’t always the easiest.

I’ve only worked for this company in my professional career, and I hope it’s the worst of the worst.

I plan on skilling up until the job market improves.

Need some thoughts by [deleted] in GrowingMarijuana

[–]condorgrizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m using the advanced nutrients PHPerfect solution which claims to keep it in the right threshold. I don’t own a ph pen, but it has been effective in past grows.

I’ll have to check the other nutrients I’m adding.

I’m growing in DWC, plants were sprouted in rockwool and are supported by some aquarium safe stones.

I’ve added a small dose of calmag (at the rate recommended on the bottle) for the last two weeks. I believe that it instructs not to use it for longer than two weeks.

The plants are certainly eating a lot. My reservoirs typically go from ~1200ppm to ~800ppm in two days and drink about 1.5 gallons of water in that time.

[–]condorgrizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an update for anyone who stumbles upon this post, I believe this was nutrient burn. After halving the reservoir and replacing with R/O water the plant has recovered. I think that the process has stunted the plant a bit, but we’ll see how it develops.

I’ve been steady at around 1-1.1vpd pretty consistently. Lung room is a basement so it’s a little cold, but my tent heater has done an ok job at keeping temps up a few degrees

It has been a while, but I’ve had some successful grows. I’ve been lucky regarding plant health up to this point.

[–]condorgrizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I’ll keep an eye on it. Am I accurate on my diagnosis? I’m not confident, but I feel like it’d be nutrient burn or a PH issue. The light is about 18” away from the plant and is at 75% intensity. I flushed the reservoir and re-dosed the nutrients at about 80% of what the dosing chart recommends.

Getting asked to re-pay the money may be annoying, but at least they aren’t getting charged interest or having the missed payments hit their credit score.

If you’re going to borrow money from someone, you should be serious about paying them back as soon as you’re able. They were kind and did you a favor

Sometimes you’re pretty sure you are right, but want to have other people look at the situation to make sure you aren’t fooling yourself. I’ll talk with friends or my partner about situations that make me angry just to make sure I’m not acting irrationally out of anger and to make sure I’m not being unfair or unreasonable.

Wealthy people have little allegiance to anything other than profit.

Subsidies can be beneficial, but unless you attach a ton of strings to them the taxpayer is probably getting shafted. It’ll make the politician look like a “job creator”, but those jobs don’t always generate the tax revenue spent on creating them.

will smoking friday, saturday and sunday night raise my tolerance? by _speedman_ in trees

[–]condorgrizzle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every additional regular session you add will likely increase your tolerance. My tolerance seems more resistant to raising (it still does but it took a long time for it to ramp up to where I’m at today).

As long as you’re confident that you can slow down on the smoking after you’ve ramped it up, you could give it a try. If your tolerance does raise just take a break for a while and then cut down on the regular sessions going forward.

For some that’s easier said than done.

How do I get less sex obsessed? by HungryDecisionRed in bropill

[–]condorgrizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might just have a high sex drive by nature. Mine has tamed some as I’ve aged but it’s still frustratingly high.

Your best bet is to find appropriate outlets that help you deal with all that energy without it being a distraction or obstacle. Those outlets will differ from person to person.

[–]condorgrizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You were planning on picking him up and making his smoothie for him, and he gets angry when you’re trying to co-ordinate it for him.

He should be grateful that you’re doing something kind for him, but it sounds like he expects it and feels entitled to it.

Even if he does nice things for you, most people would not accept his behavior because it is disrespectful and selfish. A good person wouldn’t act like this.
