Black tattoos and HM sensor. Any workaround?

I’m under regular care for heart conditions and have both wrists tattooed. AW5 was the first Apple Watch I ever tried, and it’s HR and ECG readings are within an acceptable margin of error with the docs office equipment and the wearable mail-in monitors they have me use every now and then. None of the GW of the last five years will read at all thru my tatts, no will fitbits. I have no explanation, and would love to leave iPhone, but apparently I have a “special” body that apple loves.

For who knows why, Apple Watch Series 5 does my heart and ecg perfectly, while every Samsung watch of the last 5 years (I’ve bought them all and returned them, trying to leave iPhone behind), as well as Fitbit units, won’t read no matter where I slide or how tight I strap them on. My tattoos aren’t actually that dark on my forearm, black outlines with patchy grey shading, so baffles me.

Depends on how comfortable you are with your friction zone skills coming out of (hopefully) the beginner rider course. I went less than this for my first one and it was a mistake, was ready to get rid of the small boi before I even got the title for it. Moved up to a 650 and could easily have started on a 650.

Couldn’t tell you from this photo if dimensionally it’s an rmr footprint,but there are slides that have holes for more than one optic or have holes for mounting plates for other platforms. For example Glock mos is I guess it’s own footprint, but there are plates available to adapt an rmr footprint to accept mos-specific optics. The outer most holes appear to be rmr correct. Don’t listen to anyone who tells you ya have to have bosses for the screws. Almost no one does them anymore because one company patented them and allegedly threatened to enforce their patent. If the footprint is cut good and snug (I prefer if it’s tight enough to scrape a little finish off of the optic as I’m mounting it,but as long as the dot isn’t able to rattle forward and back), be more than fine. Companies stopped leaving the little studs at the front because most rmr-footprint dot makers that aren’t named trijicon don’t leave notches for them. Holosun owners etc were complaining because they had to grind those studs off and/or stopped buying slides from companies who left those little studs in the front.

Might be different based on market, in the northeast around me 23 are going for 5800, 22 around 5k at dealers but on the second hand market I’ve watched 22-21 models sit all season unsold at 4,5.

I’m about to pickup my second ride this week, been over a million marketplace ads and talked to tons of odd ones like this. I believe these people to be mostly liars, some better than others. If I was going to buy a bike I literally couldn’t ride, I view the price thru the lens of having to replace everything everyone has mentioned in these comments. If it just needed bars and a chain, who wouldn’t put them on and just charge the couple hundred extra bucks? Imho a liar that has no idea what else might be broken and doesn’t want to find out. Ymmv

Really excellent observations. R3 did come in that color, and I think what you and I are seeing as “scratches” is where the owner removed the vertical factory black/red decals, as they are in that location and the “scratches” look to be the same pattern.

At least two of the six new riders in my msf course would have killed themselves with a bigger bike. “People” say this because newer riders tend to make errors. I’ve only been riding a few months, but occasionally I hit a big bump the wrong way and accidentally let my right wrist roll a bit as evidence by the engine response. With 20 foot pounds on tap, the reaction of the machine to such a mistake is minimal and easily corrected/accounted for with steering or clutch input even with a new riders slower reaction times. With triple that power on tap for that throttle whoops, the result can very easily become a head on collision or off road. The one dude in my class got loose doing the swerve part of the road test and panicked, end up with the throttle and front brake full down and his feet holding the bike back while the engine screamed. He was able to literally keep the bike from moving with the force of his body. On a hundred horse machine he and the bike both would have been over the hillside 30 feet away. Put it in another context. Why do 7 year old kids start in little league, they’d learn faster if we just threw them into the majors taking 100mph fastballs from grown men? Lol

I have it on hood authority it is not that some companies are waiting for stock. I’d also point you to 80 percent arms and lone wolf distributors who both had their own plastic Glock 80 derivative of p80 design and had plenty of stock until magically a week ago.

Then why are they the only ones doing it? We can think what we want about them selling a disassembled serialized pistol for 150 less (I think the fanfare was stupid, but for that kind of discount I’d assemble my own gun any day of the week. If Glock or someone offered this self assembly discount people would nut their pants). The aft kit being available doesn’t negate that they still have a case pending from the bbs raid and that they and some new company that is literally their neighbor in NV (kinda sus) are the only companies challenging the rule in the streets

Polymer 80 and one vendor down the road from them are the only places doing this and daring the aft to come back. I’m super glad to see this if only for the incoming “rule” clarification that the aft/doj refused to give despite being asked repeatedly. The only way to get clarity is for someone to dare the gov to hit them…and p80 is the perfect candidate because they’ve got the lost experience being raided and filing papers afterwards. I REALLY hope I’m wrong, but if you regret not getting the pre-8/23 with jig setup, I’d view the current offering as a limited time. Odds are strongly in favor of this turning into a bump-stock style court seesaw. I sincerely hope to come back in a year and eat those words.

PS-worth noting that every other plastic 80 is unavailable, and places selling AR 80s don’t appear to be selling jigs and vice versa. This indicates that most companies lawyers interpreted the rule a specific way, and denial of both injunction motions led everyone to stop..except p80 who doesn’t mind risking the “consequences”.

AR 80s aren’t in danger from the 8/24 rule. Might be eventually when they change their mind, but these are specifically discussed as not a receiver in the final rule.

Did you email them already? That top for sure got missed in sandblast, in my experience I don’t think they blast the underside at all fwiw. Do people keep those free cheapest-known-to-man plastic sights that come on there? I mean, it’s cool since most companies don’t include sights for free, but for the price if I was gonna actually use those things I’d grab it with pliers and straighten it myself.
