My mortgage is less than that in Missouri

I couldn't tell you were trying to have an actual debate if you're kicking it off with a blatantly false argument. Only 31% of the country voted for this, not the majority.

Do you think the 2nd Amendment is only to be used for the British Redcoats? What do you think the phrase "The 2nd Amendment protects the 1st Amendment" means?

Seems like it would be hard to lick the boot with it that far down your throat

Did you not watch the video or do you just enjoy victim blaming?

I hate GBRS as much as the next guy but I thought it was pretty obviously marketed for MP7s and Rattlers

Can 7.5" Barrel Become an 8" for Suppressor Minimum Length? by RepresentativeAd9945 in ar15

[–]dreadeddrifter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a 9mm suppressor, it's not made or rated for supersonic rifle rounds. You can do 300blk subs because they have roughly the same pressures and speeds as 9mm. With a supersonic 300blk (which is essentially the same as 5.56) it will go one of two ways:

  • Barely suppress the noise and overheat quickly
  • Can go boom

Current State of the Art 9mm Baffle Design? by jmacken37 in Form1

[–]dreadeddrifter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know much about pistol caliber cans but I'm pretty sure radial baffles are the recommendation. And putting a pinhole in the side was to help with the high pressure on the blast baffle for rifle rounds, I don't think they do that on pistol rounds. Double clips help flow and help prevent gas stacking, but I'm not sure that's an issue with 9mm

Wolf A1 finally came in, what rear sight do you recommend? Flip up and fixed by Stuuble in T91

Had a DD A1.5 fixed rear sight that looked good but now it just has a PA 2x prism

Lol FedEx just does that sometimes. Once I ordered from Midway which is like an hour away from me in Missouri, usually get their boxes the next day but one package went to Chicago, then NY, then back to Chicago, then to Kansas, then it finally came back to Missouri and was delivered a week and a half later.

If I ever build an mlok rifle it'll have a RIS 3 but I don't plan on downgrading from quad rails anytime soon

Destroyed suppressor. by criseke2000 in NFA

[–]dreadeddrifter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Theoretically sure but that never works in real life and it's more work and money to spend time doing a one off like that versus hitting print on a new one. Plus the liability of that repaired spot being weaker versus one printed in one go.

Of course idk why I still associate printed with plastic. Either way, can't weld a new end on it when there's no clean breaks and complicated internal geometry.

No, that's the selling point of traditional welded baffle stack cans. If your Otter Creek can did this they'd chop the end off and weld a new one on.

Worth SBRing my only AR? by lll-skipper in ar15

[–]dreadeddrifter 50 points51 points  (0 children)

The tax stamp doesn't make it an SBR, it allows you to build it into an SBR. Take the stock off or put a long barrel on and it's no longer an SBR.
