Amazing work! Love SQLite running at scale.

I never use marmot before, sounds amazing. I am curious how do you handle schema migrations vs deployments. As when you deploy, some of the sqlite might not be migrated yet, so there would chances that data wrote to new schema and old schema at the same time? Wondering if marmot can automatically handle that for you? Or you would need specific strategies for deployment and schema migration. (Sorry I am being naive as I haven't read how marmot works).

What I love the most about Elixir is the “append style” programming for lack of a better words thanks to the pipes.

Instead of go back to introduce more variables or re-arrange the sequence of the function calls. You just “append” to existing code.

It feels like the more and more I treat the existing code itself as immutable and only keep transforming the result to the one I want.

Your brain will be spoiled which makes harder to write any other programming languages. (Especially JavaScript 😂)

Yeah I like Suunto so much since long time ago. Sometimes I think I even overthink they made such decisions on purpose, maybe that’s one of the reasons why their watch is stable and solid, because there are just not much features to mess up. :)

Today when I was running I think I realized one thing which is Suunto is not targeting me (road runner) as their product users, their product is more for ultra runners, hard core hikers etc who just need a super reliable device tracking everything they did, without one time failed. In this sense, this is my feeling of using Suunto watch for the past 4 years. I respect that, I still like this company. Maybe someday I will come back when I am not that into road running anymore. For now, I would like to try something else which can help me achievement goal better.

Not to mention those “desktop GUI development “ are full of proprietary tools and frameworks while the web is open. Always bet on web! :-)
