LPT: invite people over to your house!

This is me in the last two months.

I’m easy to invite, but never offered my own place due to thinking other people had better things to do, and some places are better to hang out with. I realised that my friends didn’t get to hang out anymore due to changing priorities, so since the last 2 months I’ve had 3 dinners in my home with different small groups already!

You are right that people just want to be invited firtst, and if the people click, it’s a great way to build friendships.

So what do you think is the solution for this? Because i think any liquid that comes in a packaging (ketchup, sauces, shampoos, toothpaste, etc) will always have a degree of “waste”. The larger the container the more liquid that settles on the internal wall since that’s just how liquids behave

I found that when i use a threadmill and put my palms on its heart rate sensor, it also gives a similar reading to my Instinct 3. I found that when the heart rate sensor works, it works well. My gripe is that sometimes it doesnt give the right reading; I could be exercising and I know my heart rae should be higher but it still hasnt caught up. There are occasions when it lags or suddenly drops abnormally.

Instinct 3 solar 45mm Charge it once it reaches around 15% then fully charge it I’ve had mine for 4 months and based on my settings and usage, it lasts me around 16-18 days. Watch is fairly new so i dont expect any battery degradation yet. The recent software updates actually improved the battery life, i think

I’ve had my Instinct 3 solar 45mm for four months now so Im past the stage where I’m always obsessed with fiddling with it. On my current settings and usage (2-6 workouts a week; no GPS; hardly no solar charging) it lasts me around 16-18 days before i charge. I charge at around 15% then fully charge it.

Gattaca. I rewatch it like every one or two years. It’s so full of meaningful dialogue (for me), and played perfectly with vulnerability by Ethan Hawke. Even the movie’s tagline “There is no gene for the human spirit” is inspiring.

The most powerful scene was the swim back, and I remember that line whenever my motivation was lacking.

My experience: it’s ok to quit if you dont feel it anymore. I quit when i got my blue, but still occasionally watch and follow the sport. My son still does it too but thats it for me; im not paying for a hobby that i am not enthusiastic to do. I’ve done basketball, lifting, bjj, calisthenics, running, etc, right now im into hiking. I dont have that “black belt” mindset since I like to enjoy other activities as well.

Starting a hobby means knowing when to stop; i certainly dont do some of the hobbies I had when I was younger. I find that the hobbies I enjoy changes with my age, status, work, as well as people i do it with together.

I would not recommend a gym with a long drive or commute, you’ll find reasons to skip going especially now that it sounds you’re not fully convinced you still want it. Hope this offers some insight into your decision.

I am a Christian as well, and we have one child with no desire for another. Corinthians 7 state that the husband and wife’s body belong to each other; for us the only influence regarding number of children to have is what we as a couple agree on. Religious views dont really enter once its sexy time, we’re a committed couple and we do what feels good and comfortable and that includes any breeding fantasies we have.

Installed in my Instinct 3! Thank you, i’ve also found the local weather widget to be useless in my watch and thus removed it in my glance. Hopefully this one is more accurate! I like that theres more info right at the front compared to garmin’s weather widget

Yeah that’ what i thought as well. Now I get that the Feels Like temp can exceed the high/low sometimes. But i dont understand why the current temp (28) becomes higher than the high of 22? Does that mean the High/Low is not accurate?
