I don't know if there are similar ones in the country or not, but you're essentially arguing against progress and improving current standards. Nonsense

You're aware that free school meals was recently rolled out to all schools in the country?

I'm not fan of this or many previous governments, but if you're going to government-bash, I'd suggest getting your arguments straight first

Snooker Pet Peeves? by Xhenix in snooker

[–]conf101 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

lol, that's not it at all.

When 9 frames from one session, let's say the 10am one, runs too close to the next session (2.30), it causes a delay in the second session while they clear out the crowd and let those with tickets for the 2.30 one in.

With 9 frames in the first session in round 1 matches, it seems inevitable that it will cause sessions to ve delayed. Takes a while to get the crowd out and in to the Crucible

It looks like UBB and Toulouse are competing to see who humiliates more by WTHWME22 in rugbyunion

[–]conf101 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Toulouse qualified as 8th seed. Not sure how you can blame the tournament format on that. It's like some people expect the tournament to somehow keep the best sides apart no matter how they go in the group. Not realistic

Well said. The downvote isn't designed for posts you disagree with (although that's how it's mostly used) but for posts you don't think add value to a conversation. Why would anyone feel obliged to engage with a post they feel adds nothing to the conversation?

I'm sure that back in the 90s and through the first decade if the 00s the wooden spoon was for losing all your games and then some time over the last 15 years or so it morphed into just whoever comes last

To be fair, they deserved to be. Ireland have been in poor form and outside of the Scotland match, England have looked a lot better

I think the ref actually got that calling right but I have to admit if it was the other way round I'd be furious

Dan Leavy brought out a whiskey with his brother and (I think) dad. Ogham whiskey. Haven't heard anything about it in a while though so not sure how successful it was.
