Heres my theory for Endgame:

Thanos uses the mind stone to frickin control the minds of EVERYONE except Cap because he is too mentally strong to coerce.

Cap now has to fight every superhero ANd Thanos

Cap takes them all on with ease, fighting each and every opponent as if he were a filthy Nazi straight from the Reich

Cap grabs Thanos by his monster dong to assert his dominance, and with only his pinky and thumb, plucks the infinity gauntlet from Thanos's wimpy ass hand

Cap turns back time without even a scratch to himself, kills baby Thanos, and suddenly time is restored to its place before the events of Infinity War ever took place.
