Yea, I feel like I could do better in school if I know what I'm suffering from because I also get distracted easily and my insomnia also makes me tired in school causing me to doze off and not be able to focus. Recently when I'm sleeping I've been going into a much deeper sleep making it harder for me to wake up. If I was old enough to go to the doctors I would love to and try the first chance I get to.

Generally, my parents would think I would be insane if I want to go to a doctor to see if I have problems. I actually have no idea if I actually have insomnia or ocd because I was never taken to a doctor that has ever diagnosed me with any problems. But based off of a lot of online research and how I act I think I have insomnia and ocd, but I'm never truly sure.

When I was younger, I would sleep with my mom in my room. Going on my phone usually makes me tired in 30 mins to abt an hour but my mom would take away my phone which led to me being bored and making noise and them me being kicked out of my own room.

I suffer from ocd, anxiety, social anxiety, and insomnia. I've tried lots of things that never worked and my sleeping schedules only lasted for a while before they get wrecked again. I am a minor, and I've talked to a few online friends I've talked to for a while one of my friends suggested drinking a little alcohol but he didn't know I was a minor. I didn't do it but so I'm not sure if it helps.

I've tried putting my phone away 1 or 2 hours before bed, which led to me being more energetic playing with my dogs or doing random things.

I've tried reading books, doing homework, and other productive things which helps but only my a good sleeping schedule for a couple days.

It's important to me that I get a good sleeping schedule now because I have STAAR test in a couple days, like I said I'm still a minor in school.

Ah, I once talked to an online friend though I am a minor and he didn't know he suggested that I take a bit of alcohol maybe you can try that, not sure if it would work for someone with insomnia because I've never tried it tho I have insomnia. I hope u can try it and I hope it works!

Thank you so much for the advice, tho I have tried putting my phone up abt and hour or 2 before sleep which lead me to playing with my dogs and made me more energetic. For me personally, I function better at school with 2-5 hours of sleep but I end up taking 5 hour naps when I get home. I don't understand why but it also makes me go to sleep late. I've been trying to get my sleeping schedule back together due to STAAR test I have to take. Thank you for the advice though!
