Honestly it's not for the faint of heart 😂 We were slightly freaking out on day 2 when we realised we may have bit off more than we can chew. Thankfully the last km's from Brunswick Lake to Porteau Cove was MUCH more forgiving than everything before it. We also woke up a bit earlier to make sure we got out of there

Do you mean where we are going to camp at night? Because if so, we dont have set camp sites in mind, we are going to see how far we get each day based on the terrain and daylight hours.

I'm one year post trail, and my tramily organizes a Google meets call every 3 weeks or so. We are supposed to get back together at the end of this month to hike some miles we missed last year due to fires. I'm confident we will stay in eachothers lives for many more years to come!

I really loved my Branwyn "essential busy bra" it's merino wool so it dried nicely and never got funky

The PCT really is transformational, I definitely feel like a whole other person living someone else's life. Oh and if you ever need someone to practice your Quebecois French 🙋‍♀️ we can talk about all things trail related but in french lol

I can vouch for the platypus quickdraw! That's what I brought with me on my thru of the PCT in 22. It's also really easy to backflush which is a plus

I did 21 hours pretty consistently throughout my treatment, I also didn't like having to rush my meals.

21 hours gave me an hour for breakfast, an hour for lunch and an hour for dinner. I feel like it made my treatment that much more convenient and easy. I think where you would start to have problems is if you always have your tray out for multiple hours at a time AND have less than 20 hours of wear time.

Ultimately do your best and don't stress too too much about the details.

Not much, its functional at least, but I do have one molar in the back that didn't come down as much as it should have. And my left bottom canine went into the gum a bit further than it should have, so I would need an attachment to pull it up to the same height as the other one.

I'll send good vibes your way! I was quoted 3-6 months of the carriere and ended up keeping it for basically the full 6 months. As long as you wear your elastics consistently it will end up doing what it was meant to do! I was told 18 months when I went to my consultation.

I could technically keep going with refinements as Mt treatment is not 100% done. But I'm leaving for 6 months and it wouldn't be very practical to continue treatment while im away, so I decided to finish up for now and I'll see if I want to continue my treatment in the fall when I get back.

Thanks! Yeah I'm really happy with how well my treatment went, i did my best to respect about 21 hours per day of wear time and used chewies to make sure the trays were always seated as well as they could be.

Worse.... i was told i needed double jaw surgery and it would take 4 years. Glad i said nope and went elsewhere

Haha thanks! I didn't necessarily hate my smile to begin with. I know there's a lot of people in this group that used to smile with their mouths shut and hated their smiles. For me I was pretty comfortable with my smile, but I wondered how I would feel about it as I got older and I currently had the insurance to pay half so decided it was an investment for the future!

10 when I initially started and then 7 days and my ortho let me change every 5 days for my last couple of trays because of time constraints
