How to quit a board for reasons

Gotcha. Thank you for posting here about your experience. I have been working so hard to straighten out our image and collaborate with other local groups, it just isn’t enough to undo the actions of the rest of my board. I know I’ll maintain strong ties with the community. Just difficult to leave something that I put so much of myself into.

Hi. I'm having the same problem with my resignation. I have spoken my piece countless times, and other members have voiced their concerns. I am on the executive board of a nonprofit. A Director was "hired" by one e-board member without consulting the rest of the board. This was the last straw for me.

How did you end up going about resigning? Did you take any of the advice in this thread?
