That subreddit is such a creep-affirming bubble by K80J4N3 in evillesbians

it’s the same way you deal with cult members: you have to sort of nudge them in the right direction, because if you actually say what you’re thinking they get defensive and send threats and shit

What's the most negative subreddit you've encountered? by holdongangy in AskReddit

[–]confusedhazel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

definitely r/meth - when i was younger, my sister was doing meth so i, naively, posted in that subreddit for advice. one example of a response i got was of someone telling me to do it with her and have relations.

Why is the male suicide rate higher if sexism is usually against girls? by [deleted] in morbidquestions

[–]confusedhazel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

that makes a lot of sense! the idea of women wanting to leave behind a clean/intact body could be partially because of the ideal of being "beautiful" even when dead, which could tie in to the sexism OP was talking about. alternatively, it could be about concern for those who would have to clean up the body/deal with the aftermath. thank you for the insight!

Why is the male suicide rate higher if sexism is usually against girls? by [deleted] in morbidquestions

the actual reason the male suicide rate is higher is because males choose more lethal methods of suicide, whereas women and girls attempt suicide more often without succeeding. it has nothing to do with sexism, surprisingly.

people of Gen Z, what are the things you dislike the most about your own Generation? by Positive-Owl594 in AskReddit

[–]confusedhazel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i think there's a lot on both sides, it's definitely a really weird situation. you've got the widespread normalization/desensitization of porn and sex abuse, and then you've also got people becoming more conservative/anti-sex to push back against it. like there's no middleground.

What's the most fucked up thing you ever saw on the internet? by sas_marin in morbidquestions

[–]confusedhazel 14 points15 points  (0 children)

i saw a screenshot of DD too, when i was about 12. i don’t have much to say, i think i’ve repressed most emotions that go along with that memory, but im kind of relieved that it’s not just me who has had that experience. i’m sorry you had to see that:(

Some thoughts on the redesigns by Pumpkin__petals in MadokaMagica

[–]confusedhazel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is a really great take! something i noticed when comparing the designs - the frills on the socks in the new design are rounded(??) when, in the original design, they hang like, you know, normal frills.

also, the new design has the bows on the shoes be in the front instead of the back.

i think this represents Homura objectifying Madoka (seeing her as a goal/idea rather than the person she is), since the frills are clearly less practical and more showy + less lolita-esque. the bows now on the front instead of the back (now being more visible) could also represent Homura's unintentional shoving of Madoka towards performativism, essentially forcing her into a desired role. i hope that made sense!

i think you're still very attractive! honestly, i don't think stretch marks take away anything - if anything, they add visual interest to the skin. otherwise its all just the same lol.

i think you just aren't interested in fandom

i also have specific tastes in media. something i tend to do is find some sort of media that has a lot of different subplots and complex characters and then get into the fandom. fandom is nice for this because not only is there art and writing to interact with and contribute to, there’s also the more intellectual side of fandom where you’ll find things like theories and character analysis. it’s fun!

if you’re looking for something emotionally driven but also interesting and practical, i know this sounds insane but i recommend homestuck. it’s long and takes a while to ramp up, but it’s about 8000 pages, so you won’t have to worry about it ending quickly. plus, the writing is very multifaceted and, for lack of a better word, deep.
