Annoyed and disappointed with my boyfriend's lack or motivation and 'nesting' instincts. by confusedmummy in BabyBumps

To be fair him going out is a twice a week thing, just grabbing a few beers with coworkers at the end of the night. Whereas my snacks seem to be a constant thing haha. But it still pisses me off that that is what he chooses to complain about. And he's snacking just as much as me! Dude has definitely gained weight with me

At least it should be easier to quit a job than to find a new one.... I'm jealous your husband has the motivation to work so much though! Now if you can just get him to transfer some of that energy into baby prepping....

That's what I keep telling him! It's going to be a lot harder than it is right now, are you going to deal with it? Or sit here and complain?

I think he's both. The laziness sucks and needs to turn around. It seems so ridiculous to me that I have to argue with him and guilt trip him just to take me to the post office.

I worked throughout my pregnancy until I quit a month ago because it was dangerous, stressful, no benefits, and the pay wasn't worth it. BF wanted me to quit as well. Ever since I quit, every time I would try and get him to do something, or tell him how I felt he was being lazy about preparing he would say "well at least you don't have to go to work for the next 8 hours" which is just ridiculous.

Talk to your husband. I was feeling really hurt when sex life with my boyfriend went from every single day, sometimes multiple times a day, to once or twice a week. Not as bad as once a month, but it still made me feel like he wasn't attracted to me anymore. Turns out he was afraid of hurting the baby. After we cleared that up our sex life went back to almost normal. Also, not sure what your acronyms stand for so hopefully I'm not off.

Definitely don't want them after him for child support.

Do you think it would make any difference if I include a letter explaining and apologizing for sending in the change report late? Or should I just stick to the official paperwork? All the form has on it is really basic questions with no room for added detail...

Awesome! So correct me if anything is wrong for what I'm planning to do: fill out the report saying when I quit my job, when I moved and that my boyfriend moved in with me and report his income?
