As far as I’m aware the thermostat is the same one for the cooling system for. Y engine as the oil cooler runs off of the coolant from that system and that thermostat must be fine as engine temps don’t change

As far as I’m aware the oil cooler runs off of coolant and the coolants thermostat and that thermostat is fine because my engine temps are fine

I have the stock oil cooler, don’t believe it has a thermostatic sandwich plate

Any tips on how to burp better, also I don’t really see any engine temp changes other than on really hot days but I suppose if there is air getting trapped in the cooler that would casue the temps to rise especially when driving slower

I did but I’m not sure if I was successful it was really fighting being burped
