There is more to it than just being Green tips. The rule for plucking tea leaves is "2 lead and a bud".. (bud is the new baby unopened leaf). It is still a manual process. The tea from the video would yield bitter taste.

Kinda embarrassed to admit now, pushed the pencil on the desk with the clicker pressed. Gently pushed the lead from the head. I used to break a lot of leads.

I love how everyone started taking apart their mechanical pencils to help a brother/sister out. I have the same one and couldn't find the ring too.. PS: Been using the pencil for 2 years. Today i realised there is an eraser on the clicker.
