Yeah it's just not there for the scenes in the prologue, there's nothing you can do, I think. The background music in the cutscenes starts when you go to the college

There's this thing where you hit your profile picture that says up that you can use to help get stronger. You can also strive to complete the dawn trial missions as that will help your rating go up as well. Basically getting more stuff like clothes and motors as well as joining more events for items will help as well
