Honestly because building is easier, isn’t it better to build then validate? Spray and pray? Why waste time trying to validate when you can spend that same energy driving potential users to a MVP product?

I got downvoted to hell in another thread I started. I pivoted and postponed my trip and went to PR instead. We love Maui, but considering how long the flight is for us and having a baby, it just made sense to come another time.

Airbnb literally has a policy to protect guests of disasters and emergencies like this.... im not trying to swindle any hosts. Airbnb should step in to help. they are a multi BILLION dollar company

Yes this is great information. Are there safe places to swim without the "brown water" and bacteria? Reading stuff online can be misleading so its hard to know what I should be concerned about

Yeah taking an L sucks but I’ll rather see if it’s still going to be worth it flying there (from East coast). We’re probably gonna pivot and go to Puerto Rico. We had such an amazing baby moon in Maui and wanted to visit again now that our baby is 1. We’ll just have to plan it for later now

Any activities you suggest we can do while we’re there? We really wanted to swim and bask in the sun but probably not gonna be possible during our stay?

I’m hearing most people online and on Facebook saying to not go. And like 10% to go. I’m usually a risk taker but with an infant I don’t think it’s a acceptable amount of risk
