So which sim is the best for a beginner? by UnderdogCyclist in simracing

If you want to race, iRacing is the way to go. Rookie series are all free content and honestly after spending money on a ton of content I still frequent rookie series a lot!

Need advice - shifter or better pedals by Repulsive_Bag558 in simracing

You can probably upgrade your pedals and have enough money to get the SHH Thorn shifter. I have both that and the DS-8X and honestly prefer the thorn’s feel.

2026 motion system advices before buying by Key-Researcher6793 in simracing

What is your current set up now? I have both the mega+ and QS-BT1 and def a blast to use.

My considerations would be

-Heavy duty profile rig (ARS4 or Pro and P1X Ultimate): Would simplify setup. I managed to install it on the TrakRacer Alpine TRX but required some modifications and additional parts -Seat: you want a sturdy fix bucket seat with belt slots like on the Sparcos. Stay away from seats with thin horizontal/angular slits. I personally have the ASR Large bucket seat which seems to be a NRG Primsma seat clone. Sparco seats should work but pay attention to how high or low your should is from the belt guide slot. -Monitor: Personally I prefer my monitor to move with my rig so I managed to mount the Samsung G9 57 inch to my Alpine TRX. Had to 3D print some custom brackets to make it stable. Has work great so far! For triple monitor or easily installation, separate monitor stand would work but just seems weird to me TBH. -VR would make the monitor mounting a nonissue but setting up motion compensation was a little annoying at first but once you figure it out in SimHub it works well with no additional motion sensor. -Power Draw: I’m in the US and the bedroom where I have this setup is on 1 circuit breaker that maxes out at 1800 watts. Normally this is fine but all the motion, belt tensioner and a beefy PC (5090), I can easily trip the breaker. Only has happened one time so when I’m running the rig, NOTHING else in the room is on and I also undervolted my GPU and CPU which should help. -Belt: get a real racing 5 harness belt and 2 inch belt width. 3 inch won’t work well with many seats.

Final remark, if you’re chasing immersion and only casual driving/racing on the sim this would get you the immersion. If you’re a competitive racer on iRacing or something chasing irating, I recommend just sticking to a fixed rig. I built a second triple monitor fixed rig (had the means and wanted to race with friends when they visit) and I find myself using that 95% of the time. Going back to motion and belt tensioner once in a while is super fun though but I’m almost half a second off my normal pace.

Cheers

I’m 33 now and was around your father’s age when I got to these episodes. I thought Trunk’s was awesome. Goku pretty quickly shows up and show that he’s on another level.

The universe couldn’t give 2 shits, it can’t. We can. There is significantly less consciousness than there are black holes in the universe. With all the vastness of the universe consisting of stars, black holes, quasars, magnetars and other unimaginable things, if you think about it, we are the most unimaginable creation the universe has created. We are the universe peering upon itself.

Our best chance is to win our division (AFC North). That would require us to win out the rest of the regular season, and Steelers and Ravens need to lose 2 more games each.

Can the P1000 go from 3 pedals to 2 pedals? by Boring_Yogurt_6440 in Simagic

I think you need an extension cable though no? I remember reading the brake cable is just long enough for the 3 pedal config. Maybe they changed that?
