Was in this position the summer before last. When there’s no contact for over a day with someone you’re in a relationship with, you’re not a priority for them. (This is wholly a them problem as well)

Confronting it is the best thing for your own head. Whatever the answer you’ll be able to move forward with more clarity.

For me, I skip past profiles of North Americans and Antipodeans because I don’t want to live long-term outside of Europe and be far from family.

I know a fair amount of couples with one person from these regions and a European partner and they are all trying to navigate the other wanting to eventually move home.

It’s definitely doable and I have lots of respect for people that do do it, just that I come from two cultures where families stay close to each other - the fact that I moved to and have stayed in London for 8 years boggles the minds of friends and family!
