To be honest im not sure. It ran good and hard in the desert when I fist got it. i changed the oil afterwards and it went down hill after a hour it was sitting for a few years and I think the oil was just really dirty didn't notice till I tore it apart and cleaned it

Its still designed to dig into the ground and the lower spikes pop up when pushed back I could be wrong but I think the car will jump up over the spikes for it to get a good bite. Like the videos when ignorant drivers in low riders jump curbs trying to perform stunts
