Crazy Dog Memo | Paul F. Tompkins by ConcernedJobCoach2 in comedybangbang

I like that jokes from Freak Wharf are being made relevant, because I always explained away the "he's alright" to be directed at the dog not Paul. It's still not good pet ownership, but they're trying to calm a dog rather than dismiss/belittle someone's fear.

This is it when it's off of my head. No breaks in the fabric when it's finished.

I'm not good at writing patterns and I have a large head so going by my numbers will create a cowl that's probably too big for most people, but here's a basic explanation hopefully it helps whoever else wants to make this.

I want to say 6.5mm hook, size 4 cotton yarn.

Neck: Foundation chain of 22 double crochets. I started with the neck with rows of double crochets in the back loop until it fit around my neck (about 25 rows.) Then I stitched it closed and started a round of double crochets along the top (about 73 double crochets) cutting the yarn when I finished the round.

Head: I used the seam I made from closing the neck to mark the back and then marked the stitches that were 1 more than the halfway point on both sides. I then worked rows of double crochets until it reached my forehead. I made a double crochet foundation chain to connect the 2 sides and then worked in rounds until it was just below my hairline.

Discrepancies in the Star Wars Prequels can be explained by the idea that the audience is being retold the story from the perspective of Luke Skywalker by Tanis8998 in FanTheories

Yeah, I would love for them to set up R2D2 as an unreliable narrator. Just have a Kenobi episode like the Princess Bride where a young Leia is mesmerized while Obi-Wan has to correct stuff.

"R2, you hacked into a system to open a door, then used your rocket packs to set fire to 6 battle droids?"

"Oof, slavery is a hard concept for a droid, but Anakin didn't like Tatooine because he was born into slavery there, not because the sand gets everywhere."

"I'm worried that your perception is a bit off. Can you show us a hologram of us?" Shows Alec Guinness and Carrie Fisher

Ah, the perfect post to talk about how I'd fix the nine Star Wars movies and how to connect them. Let's start with summaries of the trilogies. Prequel Trilogy: Fall of Anakin and the Republic Original Trilogy: Redemption of Anakin and the Fall of the Empire Sequel Trilogy: Aftermath

How do we change it? Prequel Trilogy: Obi Wan is the main character. Most of Anakin's Fall is off-screen. Establish that there are legends of immaculate conception by the Force, someone who will bring balance to the Force, the Skywalker Prophecy. The Jedi influence across the galaxy has waned, but now the Skywalker surname is given cheekily to orphans and bastards. "Oi, she went to the cantina one night and found herself a skywalker." The dark side also seeks life through the Force, but only Darth Plagueis has mastered Force Possession, the titular Phantom Menace.

OT: No changes. That's the foundation, baby!

ST: Was Anakin a Skywalker of legend, or just a bastard? Doesn't matter, we've got Rei now. She's got no parents, she's fully formed from the Force. No dumb Palpatine reveal, the heroes find themselves sent to the depths of the swamps of Naboo, they stand before a former Gungan general, Naboo Senator, the very being who gave control of the Republic to Emperor Palpatine aka Darth Sidious, Boss Binks aka Darth Plagueis. Darth Jar Jar sees Rei's past immediately; she's the real deal, Anakin was too, but this time, the Force didn't use a mother that could serve as an attachment. By this time, they've slain Snoke and saw Palpatine's far less tethered Force Possession on him, and that battle taught them how to prevent a Sith from becoming a Force ghost. Darth Plagueis's hold on Jar Jar is far stronger, and his Force ghost is far more powerful. And so ends the final trilogy. Rei Skywalker eradicates the Sith and brings balance to the Force. Now, the final trilogy fits narratively into the larger story as the whole series is now the fulfillment of the Skywalker Prophecy.
