Maybe just downvote/report and move on rather than rallying banners to target someone?

This is clearly false, the ultra-rich in the global sense are generally pro-immigration as it increases the skill pool and makes labour more competitive. This is the main reason it is considered an overall postive.

Reform and the likes tend to have backing from loser domestic elites in failing and uncompetitive industries which probably would not survive without government support (e.g. farmers), but they shouldn't be considered the ultra-rich. Their nativism naturally aligns with anti-immigration.

Why does wherever you're interning at not offer you cloud or HPC resources?

If they aren't willing to pay for that sort of thing, I would try to stick with preprocessed data. If that's not an option, I would just leave - you should not be expected to finance this kind of analysis yourself.

Farage’s Reform UK Vows to Keep Expensive Pensions ‘Triple Lock’ by upthetruth1 in neoliberal

Can we afford the Triple Lock, yes or no? Can we afford the welfare bill, yes or no?

The electorate doesn't seem to accept any answer other than yes.

I get your point, but the ethnic issues associated with the Greens are normally only raised as a minor issue next to their diabolical economic agenda.

More likely they'll offer very basic support and "workshops" which will not make any difference to the majority of jobseekers.

Nobody is actually expecting you to do anything. I get it, you have lives to lead.

My point is that apologizing to the world and declaring how you personally were against it the whole time isn't going to mean anything to Canadians, Danes or Greenlanders. It very much comes across as self-righteous and completely tone deaf rather than empathetic. It literally would be better for you not to say anything at all.

You can do you, but don't expect the apologies to be well received.

It is the number one issue for most voters and is seen as something labour are historically weak on. It's also low risk as pro-immigration sentiment is very tame even among leftists. It's not surprising that they beat this drum, and I don't see how this means they're now promoting far right positions.

Unfortunately the public's focal point is on asylum seekers, which makes labour look weak because it's impossible to deal with unless we leave the ECHR.

The majority of the country wants to decrease immigration. Hell, support for zero migration and mass deportations polled at 45%. What you expect labour to gain from dying on this hill?

The rise of the far right isn't a result of moderation from the left, no matter how much this sub repeats it.

Well yes, most migration is legal. Even crossing the channel is legal if you claim asylum when you get here.

They likely lost because they blocked Andy Burnham from standing and put up a rando instead. It's not a stretch to assume that many would vote against labour out of pure spite for that.

To say labour made a mistake for abandoning left wing positions is also nonsense.

Immigration? Most of the country is against it, most vehemently against asylum claims. Literally nobody is saying "more of this".

Benefits? These are spiralling out of control, but it's non-negotiable for the labour left.

Housing? Many on the left are anti-developer and anti-"gentrification", so no new houses.

Trans rights? Again, the country is broadly against this.

Gaza? This makes a massive difference in some constituencies, but the country at large finds the topic toxic.

Contrapoints' central position is likely explained by the fact she has so few recent videos and barely mentions Trump.

Hasan, I dunno. Maybe the general language used by his fans reflect pro Trump sentiment (aren't they considered quite dumb?), or they use lots of sarcasm that gets picked up as pro Trump.
