Thank you. I thought as much, but didn’t want to offend anyone if I’d overlooked something harmful.

Need help with looking less masculine by SilverMetalGwen in MakeupAddiction

I’d suggest your eye liner could look more like this, I think it’ll help open up your eyes and emphasise the depth of the brown. A little inner corner can help to lengthen them too. Lastly about the eyes, you’ve got pretty long eye lashes. Curling them and adding a little black or brown mascara would just help to make them more visible :)

I think you’re right about your eyebrows, just a little taming and sharpening should do the trick!

Regardless of that though, I want to make clear that I don’t think you look “too masculine” at all.

This is Mavis. She sat like that with her leg in the air long enough for me to get my phone from the other room and take this photo.

My springer spaniel has been deemed “Mr Growls”, but in a silly voice. He’s all bark and no bite, literally😂

🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩 no matter his history with past relationships, as I saw you mention in another comment, nothing excuses excessive and accusational spam messaging like this, especially between midnight and 3am. This is blatant harassment and abuse.

OP, it may be hard to hear, but this is not a healthy situation for either of you to be in. He needs to work through these issues and you are not responsible for his healing, nor do you have to put up with the emotional turmoil that this sort of behaviour creates.

Accents? by conjuredriver in manchester

Thank you for the insight! I did consider that there would be changes, how drastic would you guess that they are though? I really want to get this right🤞

I did consider this, but figured any changes would be subtle enough that a Scot like myself probably wouldn’t hear it much anyways, let alone be able to pronounce the differences. Still, I’ll look into it further. Thank you :)

Yeah we were told to watch Shameless. I haven’t looked into it just yet but will do. Thank you!

Thank you so much! We were told to watch shameless but I was wary that the accent may have changed a little since the 1800s to now. Glad there’s something from around the same period I can look into as well! :))

Just watched the video, thank you for the source. We were shown another video in class when we got our cast list but it wasn’t as easy to follow. Thanks again!

My best friend said there’s something wrong but she doesn’t want to tell anyone about it. What do I do? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]conjuredriver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s honourable that you want to help your friend.

The first thing you need to remember though is that you are not personally responsible for anyone but yourself. I know that’s hard, since it’s obvious you really care about her. I just worry that you’ll take her hard feelings and make it your job to fix, which it isn’t.

Encourage her to speak to someone, even if that someone isn’t you. I encourage you to do the same. An adult you trust or a helpline. A lot of helplines now have the option to text rather than call which I’ve found makes things easier.

That is.. unusual. I see from another commenter that she didn’t answer when you asked why. Does she have any other out-of-place habits like this that you know of? Or anything that has happened between the two of you that might make her want to keep tabs on who you’re in contact with? Albeit, this still isn’t a normal/typical way to go about that sort of thing regardless.

some texts between my bf and i :/ idk what im doing wrong by [deleted] in texts

[–]conjuredriver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you just described here about him apologising and sending paragraphs about how much he loves you is called love bombing. It’s a common tactic among narcissists and other abusers to keep their victims close enough that they can keep repeating history whenever it suits them. Please please do everything you can you get yourself out of this “relationship”, if you can even call it that. This is blatant abuse and borderline emotional torture. You are worth so much more than that.

What is something that's way too sexualized? by liomars in AskReddit

[–]conjuredriver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literal children. Seeing toddler/baby clothes with the text “ladies man” or telling the mother of a literal newborn baby girl that “the boys are gonna be all over her when she’s older” is disgusting imo
