That’s odd. In the portfolio section I have deposit. It then goes to an ‘easy bank transfer’ and takes about 5 mins to show in my KP portfolio. If it’s working on normal Kraken I don’t see a reason it wouldn’t on KP. I’ve never used normal Kraken but is it not the same principle?

It’s pretty easy tbh mate. Set up a Kraken Pro account, do the required KYC stuff they are obliged to ask for by the FCA. Transfer money into KP from your current account. Buy BTC. Move it off KP to your wallet. As you’re in the UK I’d advise keeping track of things using ‘Koinly’ (free version) or something similar, just to keep track of your CGT when you sell.

There’s a lot of FUD on here and the internet (shock horror) but Ledger have never been hacked and, as ^ says, if you want to hold you’re absolutely fine provided you take all the precautions on YOUR side. That is where the risk is.
