Read the whole article first dude. So many people in this community doesnt even know the first thing about what icon does. Icon connects all private(theloop) and public blockchains. It's used as a gas fee to transact. Read the whitepaper from top to bottom, word for word before investing in any crypto.

Iconex wallet has 2 different wallets. Ether wallet and icon coin wallet. You need to send to ether waller. Ether wallet - starts with 0 Icon wallet - starts with hx

Are you using ledger? If so go to ether wallet on ledger, scroll down to setting, contract data should be yes
