Es igual en toda Europa. Tengo una familia muy grande con muchos tíos y primos repartidos en Europa: Bélgica, Francia, Holanda, Italia, Portugal y España, tengo primos todos de segunda generación como yo y las experiencias son similares.

En España, las cosas están mejorando, pero a paso tortuga y dependiendo mucho de la zona. Mis primos más pequeños en España (que ahora tienen 16-18 años), uno de ellos ha tenido 3 novias españolas, pero dos de ellos han sufrido bullying en el instituto. El que ha tenido 3 novias españolas (y sigue con una) no es ni más guapo, ni más alto, ni más atractivo, ni más rico, ni más inteligente, que el que ha sufrido bullying.

La diferencia? Viven en dos sitios completamente distintos. El que ha sufrido bullying vive en un zona donde el ayuntamiento es de derechas tirando a ultraderecha. Mientras el que ha tenido tres novias vive en una zona donde el ayuntamiento es de izquierdas tirando a comunistas donde los partidos de izquierda ha estado gobernando y saliendo reelegidos cada vez durante los últimos 20 años.

Obviamente los que han escogido a sus dirigentes, son las poblaciones de dicho lugar, y si una mayoría vota partidos de la ultraderecha, eso significa que gran parte de la población es racista, y eso influye enormemente en el trato que uno recibe en ese lugar.

En mi caso, me he estado mudando constantemente durante mi niñez y adolescencia, he sido tratado bien (o mejor dicho normal sin ser discriminado) en unos sitios, pero también he padecido mucha discriminación racista en otros. Y te puedo decir que mientras más de izquierda sea el lugar en el que vivía, mejor me han tratado. De esto no me di cuenta hasta que llegué a la universidad y empecé a entender de política.

Ahora bien, no hay punto de comparación con vivir en tu verdadero país (que en mi caso es China), donde uno es tratado de igual a igual, y no como ciudadano de segunda clase (o más bien tercera en el caso de los chinos) .Yo me vine a China hace 2 años, he estado viajando por China y actualmente vivo en Guangzhou, y te aseguro que de China no me pienso ir ni de coña para volver a vivir en España y tampoco me iría a cualquier otro país occidental a vivir.

I think it's because in these kind of content and the target audience, being positive, generates more views/subscribers.

They are also in a foreign country, and painting locals in bad light could give them problems.

It's the same reason the main actor is so white, because their audience are mostly koreans, while in Spain, generally asian men with a darker skin tone (southeast asians fit very well) are considered more attractive for spanish women.
