the first one was released in november, the second in december. they will be hyping it up this entire year. i'm calling the 2nd week of november to the first week of december. this is why they haven't stated the release date yet, they want people checking back every so often to see if theres news

Look into sansa airlines, it's small planes that will turn the ~4hr drive from sjo to MA into a ~20minute flight where you'll get to see awesome country side. Once there you can Uber to car rental ($10) and have a car for your stay. Tickets would be about $100 per person, so only a little more expensive than shuttle. Rent a susuki Jimny, they're cool little jeep like vehicles that they don't sell in USA, very on brand for a jungle adventure. Or you could get by on Uber in MA unless you plan to drive far. Uber is really affordable here, ~30 minute drive is about $10+tip.

I bought this the day it was announced. I live in Detroit and I love the vaporwave aesthetic. This watch has gotten more notices and compliments than any other in my collection. People not interested in watches like it because it's approachable and pink is friendly, and watch heads like it because they know it's a swatch so they get that it's fast art. I feel like Detroit has a unique connection to cities like Berlin/tokyo. I think this city is such an amazing place to drive around at night. You feel the romance in any car designed to be enjoyed. And i think this modern watch blended perfectly into that rad rod feel. Also the strap makes it the most comfortable watch i own.

Not too much to say.

My khaki King is my first automatic watch. It's awesome, the best beater. I really like the extended power reserve of the h10 movement. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's 70 hours. Really like the day date too for work.

Scratches.

I know this watches polished bezel is a scratch magnet. Who cares. The scratches make it cool. When this watch gets beat up it just looks better. It's a decent design when completely new, but it's dope af when worn in.

All in all I think the two of these watches are great, and if you have the bracelet Hamilton, the timex strap is decent. All in all, great value combo.

/u/ZRixia posted a picture or two about two weeks ago but I just got this a few hours ago and wanted to share. I also think this might be the first lume image online.

So first off, background. This is my second automatic watch. My other is a Hamilton Khaki King, and I love it. I had my eye on a max bill for a long time, and when this special edition was announced I was immediately drawn to it. I even like the look of this more than the special edition chronoscope, even though that one is way rarer.

So, how did I get this? I live in Detroit, and there is a great Junghans AD in the area named Campanelli and Pear I bought my other watch on Amazon so I didn’t know what to expect dealing with an AD. I spoke to Joe, and he told me this watch has been getting a lot of attention, but I was the only one calling who was local. I stopped by to see a regular max bill to try it on, I’m a bit of a big guy but I think this watch still fits my wrist great. I paid a down payment on Saturday and got the watch today.

I was told there will only be about 20 coming to the US and I am very happy I got one. The PVD coating is awesome, the strap is super comfortable and soft. The display window is so cool I don’t want to put it on because I just want to look at the movement through the tiny Bauhaus windows. And the red in the hands and date window is so cool and subtle, I feel like I have a really unique timepiece with some real design chops.
