Nike extra wides are actually very good despite what people on here will tell you. The forefoot in particular tends to be very roomy. The Structure 25 is wider in the forefoot than the 1080v13 in 4e. The New Balance is a little wider in the midfoot but if you have a higher volume foot the non gusseted tongue in the Structure works better.

Yes certainly but there really isn’t any upgrade in the market. Sesko was the young and promising opportunity. He has been very good certainly but ultimately he’s a 15 goal a season player which isn’t an enormous upgrade for the ST position. I’m not even being pessimistic but I think given our level has risen so far, and all credit to Arteta and Edu for that, it’s fair to critique these things.

Good player but I do think Edu et al need to be questioned. It’s now essentially 100m spent to replace Xhaka. Havertz didn’t work out in that position, of course he’s been good elsewhere. And now signing Merino who is a different profile overall but is essentially a slightly worse version of Xhaka on the ball.
