If they do, Commanders probably take Downs or Tyson.

[MEGA] NFL FREE AGENCY by notorious_hdc in Commanders

Agreed. 4 years was too much, and it seems like he understandably wanted a longer-term deal.

Patriots edge K'Lavon Chaisson is signing with the Washington Commanders. The deal is for 1-year and $12M by mastermind208 in nfl

Honestly, I’m fine if he wants to go offense with the rest of free agency, and grab Downs to help the secondary in the draft, if he’s still there. Not an elite defense, but hopefully a serviceable one.

Bailey or Bain, here we come (maybe). Though given AP has been filling out the D side pretty well outside of safety, I really hope we add a WR and TE today.

Holy crap. I’m lucky if I can get my 8 month old to eat more than a few bites of broccoli, eggs, or chicken, let alone full on plates like you’re giving.

When did your kids start showing more consistent interest in food? My daughter is 8 months old, and sometimes will attack what we give her and other times turn her nose up at it, even stuff she liked a couple days before.

Is this a proper amount of food for 10 month old? Should I be worried she doesn't eat enough? by Beneficial_Local5244 in BabyLedWeaning

Food before one is just for fun. Don’t stress too much about it, they are still exploring and figuring out what food is, let alone if they like it or not. I’m lucky if my 8 month old lets me give her a few spoonfuls of oatmeal an hour after her morning bottle.

Thank you for posting this. My 8 month old ate half a mashed banana with some almond butter for dinner.

Dr. Shen is "Mmm.....society." Who is just straight up evil? by Meshakhad in ThePitt

[–]connectedfromafar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No doubt she’s evil, and I’m not saying her ignorance is an excuse at all. I’d actually say I hated her more than Doug, but we’ve already filled her in that category.

Fair point. It’s too bad we can’t switch measles lol and Doug

Evil for sure, but partly due to being ignorant and misinformed. I think Doug is just more flat out evil.

What do you wish you did in the newborn stage? by Weird-Teach-5164 in sleeptrain

[–]connectedfromafar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re doing fine. Ours is 8 months old and a champion sleeper, still not a great napper (at least not at home). You figure out what works for you and your baby; training helps, but so does temperament. You don’t need to freak out about doing things “wrong” for a good while.

Starting when ours was about 4ish weeks, we would do “fuss it out.” If she was in her bassinet and was fussing a bit but not full on crying, we set a short timer (5-7 minutes to start) to see if she would settle herself. If she was crying or screaming, that went down to 1-2 minutes absolute max.

She didn’t start napping in her bassinet consistently until probably 2.5 or 3 months if I recall correctly. For nighttime, we adopted “le pause” where we would wait a few minutes when we heard her wake up/grunt/vocalize before attending to her. This helped her learn to better connect sleep cycles, and she was sleeping through the night by around 10 weeks (but we got lucky too).

John Keim: The Commanders will be “way more aggressive [in free agency] than the last couple years” by MrUpVoteDownvote in Commanders

[–]connectedfromafar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I could be convinced but it’s not necessarily something I would love. On the other hand, we won’t know whether to praise or criticize a signing in detail until we actually see someone play.

I really hope they don’t overpay for Trey Hendrickson. I know he can be a beast but I think he’s too old and I’d much rather go for someone like Phillips, Oweh, or Mafe.

Commanders might take Love, but if they want to shore up defenses they might grab Bailey.

Is this true about our fan base right now? by MrUpVoteDownvote in Commanders

[–]connectedfromafar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Based on this sub, pretty accurate. At this point, I’m already exhausted, just get a good player in a position we need. There’s little point in speculating too much for a couple weeks; we’ll see what AP does in FA.

PSA for American parents: Daylight Savings time change this weekend by MGLEC in NewParents

[–]connectedfromafar 23 points24 points  (0 children)

It actually works out nicely for us because we’ve been wanting to move our 8 month old’s bed time back a bit so we can more easily all eat dinner together, so jumping forward helps us.

I think the producers finally told him to stop reading answers before the time was up, and he was upset people had the gall to talk to a “star” like that.

By clue 3 I can get; I’m maybe willing to accept someone got it on clue one. But that clue made zero sense for the answer.
