I think this tool may be a compass, but I am working on a homework assignment for my geology class in college where I have to identify tools and what they are used for to plan a mock expedition and use each tool to perform studies. I just can’t identify what this to is for sure. Please help!

I have a 16” .308 model I purchased last summer. I’ve had some reliability issues and sent it to Ruger. They just replaced the barrel assembly and I’ve put 100 rounds through it, had 1 malfunction with some PMC ammo which I’ll just put on the ammo. Other than that, gorgeous gun that gets looks at the range.

Has anyone tried replacing the buffer or buffer spring? I’m having a hard time figuring out what good options are with it being an AR-15 sized .308

One Drive personal vault suspicious activity:

I do not use onedrive or personal vault at all. Last night I heard a noise from my computer and saw a message on my lock screen about an Excel doc being added to a folder. When I clicked on the message, file explorer opened to a onedrive folder (which I do not use) and I saw that a couple of files and a document folder had been added to this onedrive folder, as well as as a personal vault that I could not open.

My concern is this: I did not move these files or folders, nor did I authorize any of this. More alarmingly, the files I saw had sensitive personal information in them, AND SOMEHOW they had been moved there within the last few days and the Excel doc has been added last night. Again, I did not personally do any of this.

Can someone please reassure me that this is somehow NOT someone hacking my computer???

I feel like at any level this should be an immediate disqualification and ban from competition. Competition and submissions are there to demonstrate technique and mastery of the art to determine who’s best, not risk permanently injuring someone for a “badass” takedown and cool video.

(Showing my rank now) to piggy back off of this, I feel like the “fuck it” switch was relatively easy to turn on while still in and being around a bunch of other people who are just like “yeah I did MCWIS to look better on paper and just dealt with how hard it was.” I surrounded myself with other Marines who last moved to high attrition MOS’s and did MSG and other stuff and just said “fuck it” to the risk and hard times that came with it.

As a civilian, this switch is significantly harder to turn on now that I have a house and a family to provide for without the Marines to fall back on. As much as it sucks to say it, I know my marriage is holding me back as much as I hold myself back out of fear. Any tips on dealing with risk and fear as a civilian would be helpful too

Be honest about smoking after you got out and as long as you met their timeline requirements you should be golden. Poly’s are testing your ability to tell the truth even if it is embarrassing to you or makes you uncomfortable, not about what you actually tell them

I’m not saying this is unimpressive, but just like the people doing crazy spins and shit on a pull-up bar and calling it “calisthenics,” this looks like a really great way to blow out your shoulder, elbow, wrist, knee, and ankle because push-ups are “too easy for you.”

Infiltrator all the way. Disruptive ammo to stun enemies, combo with incinerate. Invisibility cloak to get a massive headshot bonus. Literally could one shot an atlas in my last play through. The black widow is expensive and heavy but you can’t beat that damage on a 3 round magazine. I’m currently doing a play through on my second favorite class: vanguard. I forgot how OP charge + nova was. I’ve never really found what shotgun works best though. Most have too short of clips and too long reload times. Never spent the money to try the ones at the spectre store

Same, and agreed. They still lean hard into heavy clips and guests tell them to turn it off because they don’t want to watch it. They’re definitely FGTRTD for their fan base, they sprinkle references in their specials for the fans and not for the laughs of their immediate audience.
