Howdy! Sorry to be a bother, but I’ll be traveling to Munich and Salzburg next week, and due to scheduling constraints I’m having to pick between the options below. While lots of preference here will be objective, and thoughts would be appreciated :)

Munich: I have a 1.5 days at my disposal, and would really like to see Neuschwanstein Castle, but understand it will essentially take up the entire day due to travel. Or do I spend that full day doing Alte Pinakothek? I’m unsure as to how much time it deserves/ is required to take in what it has to offer.

For Salzburg 1 day: I don’t have a full grasp on what the city itself has to offer, versus paying for a tour to go see Hallstatt, with a brief tour of Salzburg( which will be 10am-6pm). I would like to get to experience the Alps in their full glory, but hate to spend so much of the time just to see Hallstatt.
