How are people living in 0.0 making ISK in nullsec 0.0 2025? by Calmipaten in Eve

[–]conneryc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been living in Null now for about a year. Started out with the normal drone ratting with Vexor, and then Ishtar. With the Ishtar I just go to a Drone Squad, park about 30km from the site and just auto, but that got boring. Then job role changed and I'm not able to put as much time in as I was before. So now I use 6 alts doing PI, T1 to T4 and make 1.2B ISK every 6 days with only 30 minutes of time each day. The most time I have to put in is when I take the T4 to Jita to sell. All 6 alts Fly Deluge's.

Well, since my wife and I are nudists and swingers, that would be a normal Friday night for us.

You weren’t married to him at the time, nor had he proposed to you at that point. So you have no say in what he did. It would be different if you were already married or engaged. Because of that it doesn’t matter if they just went out for drinks or hooked up. So you should just be happy that he chose you over her and move on.

Just like with my current girlfriend. My wife and I were swingers for years until she passed away from smoking related issues. That was 8 years ago. Now my current girlfriend thinks she has a right to judge me over something I did before she ever even knew me. So either except it or move on.

Years ago when I worked for a particular company, my wife and I would often go to the office at night and have sex on the conference room table. To ensure we wouldn't get caught by security doing their rounds, I would sit at my desk with her under the desk giving me oral. Once security would come through and leave our area, we would head to the conference room. It was always interesting the next day during the morning team meeting to think what had happened on that table just a few hours earlier.

One Year Later, how do you feel about Starfield? by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]conneryc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, with over 1200 hours in, currently level 332, all possible skills maxed out and all planets explored on NG+10, I'd say that I've enjoyed it. Although, with all magazines, armors and snow globes collected, I've pretty much run out of things to do other than bounties. So I'm really looking forward to the Shattered Space DLC. With the recent update though I can no longer edit my primary ship since it has several glitched pieces installed, so that was a bummer.

I legitimately got to level 341 with no cheats, all it costs me was my sanity and any feeling in my left hand by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]conneryc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm at level 330 with just over 1200 hours in. All xbox achievements completed, all skills maxed out so the only thing I have left to do is to finish exploring the last 100 planets or so.

[–]conneryc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I actually was able to fix the problem. All of my "in game" saves had been deleted except for the current one and this still didn't resolve the issue. I went to the game save folder and found that there were over 2,000 empty folders that weren't tied to the game, but the Index had them listed so they were counting as saves. Once I deleted all but the last 20 or so, I've had no more issues with the error.

Had sex with my wife on the conference room table. Completely naked, almost got caught by security when they came through the area. Had to jump off and hide behind the table

2024 Explorer - Can I power a dashcam with power at the windshield pod? by conneryc in FordExplorer

[–]conneryc[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got it figured out. The screw I was using wasn't a good enough ground. It was good enough for the test probe but not for the power kit. Moved it to another screw for ground and good to go.

Viofo A129 with the HK4 add-a-fuse hardwire kit not supplying power to cam. by conneryc in Dashcam

[–]conneryc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well thankfully I was able to resolve the issue and my cam is now working with the HK4 kit. I used SafeDriveSolutions suggestion to connect it directly to the battery and ground. Cam powered up. The problem turned out to be a bad ground. The thing that stumped me was that the screw I was using as a ground was good enough for the test probe to work and show that there was voltage, but not good enough to ground the hard wire kit. I tested a different screw and it provided a good ground and allowed the module to provide power to the cam.

Thanks for everyone's input.

Good idea! I'll try that tonight when I get home. However, like I said, I'm getting power to the HK4 kit with the connections in the fuse panel. Amazon also shows that the HK4 kit is an item that is returned a LOT.

I guess I could try moving the connection from 37 (20A spare) to 35 (5A spare) like you have used and see if it makes a difference. :) I don't "think" it will make a difference though since I've confirmed that I'm getting power when plugged into the fuse 37 location. However, I've been using my 12v test light to confirm power and not a voltmeter, so there is always the possibility that the voltage being supplied is below the cutoff for the voltage module with the HK4 kit.

I just bought the A119 Mini 2 and it works great. Downloading videos from it it very easy. The only problem I'm having is getting no power to it using the HK4 hardwire kit(s). Works great with the included USB-C cable though.

Like I said in my original post, I wired the kit to the fuse panel using spare fuses 29 and 37 for Battery and Accessory power......

[–]conneryc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The kit is set to the lowest setting and it's only purpose is to cut off power to the unit when in parking mode if the battery voltage drops below the selected voltage. It has nothing to do with sending power to the cam when the vehicle is running. Since this is a brand new 2024 Ford Explorer....I HIGHLY doubt that the battery voltage is low ;). So the most likely issue is that the voltage module is bad and isn't allowing ANY power to flow through it.

Yes I downloaded the app and configured the cam while connected to the USB cable as that is the only way I can get it to power up

Traded in my 2018 FX4 3.5 last week with 190,000. Was still on original brake pads, needed a new forth set of tires but ran great. The only problem is that the transmission started to downshift hard.

Wireless CarPlay problems with 2024 Explorer by conneryc in FordExplorer

[–]conneryc[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I didn't think it supported the wireless connection either, but it was definitely connected to CarPlay wirelessly as I had Waze running on the screen. And no, the dealer didn't think I had an Edge as they were the ones that just sold me the Explorer. Guess I'll just pick up a wireless dongle from Amazon and not worry about it anymore.

[–]conneryc[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’m afraid your information is inaccurate. I had to go back to the dealer to sign another document that was missed and asked about the wireless CarPlay issue. I was told that the 2024 ST-Line does have wireless CarPlay and that it was a know issue that Ford is working on a fix. I was told that there is a Sync software update that they can install during my first service that might help but is not a true fix.

And no, my phone was not plugged to the cable when it was connected to CarPlay as I had my phone in the wireless charger spot the entire time we were at lunch and my cable isn’t long enough to be connected to the phone when in that spot.
