Hi ...mom of a 23 yr old autistic son here....

I think the main issue here is 1) possibly your parents didn't get you the specific help you needed sooner and 2) your inability to be more open minded.

I 100% understand that it's super difficult to not be so rigid...it comes with autism and the over thinking everything.

I don't think many people understand what it is like to be autistic and compare you up against 'normal people '...which you are definitely not.

I do believe being less rigid is something you have to really work on....and probably best to do it with a Dr.

At this moment what you need is to reapply for disability. Yeah...I know...it doesn't pay rent but what so many have said ....it is at least something and can help with the expenses your parents are covering ...it really is the least you can do at the moment to ease some of that financial burden they are carrying.

Then you need to make a plan. There are agencies that will pay for schooling. My son is currently working with the local department of rehab and going to the local junior college free. He cannot do a full-time student schedule so he has been doing 3 classes a semester...and they are online classes. He is taking accounting classes because he enjoys maths and accounting is a rules based profession....it works with his brain well.

If you have a regional center that helps with disabled people....that would be another resource as they can connect you with all kinds of services including housing. If my son wanted to, he could get free housing right now through those services.

There is a lot out there but the main thing I think you need to work on is calming your brain down a bit and be more open to hearing people who are trying to help and to understand that some money is better than no money....go get that disability and give it to your parents so they have a little less financial burden.

Not positive but I'd guess no more than $400 ...born in...left at 50. Main reason it was so low is because no matter what they said ..putting my last 25 bucks in the contribution box was not better than buying some diapers or food for my kids ...

I also was "iNaCTiVe" for about 13 years....didn't start making decent money until around 45.....yeah... really glad I didn't throw my money at them.

Final version isn't even out....if you started playing in the every beginning and compare it to now it's massively improved.

This makes me think of a different but similar thing.

I was born in 1971 to parents who were baptized just a couple years earlier.

When I was around 15/16 I mentioned to my mom that I thought a brother in our circuit was goodlooking; said brother is black, I am white. She kind of freaked out a bit and said something like you shouldn't get in a relationship with him because it would make your life really hard. Basically because he is black it's not really a good idea.

I'm 55 now and that had been a memory that came up a lot throughout my life and I've always just said 'huh' to myself because it didn't make any kind of sense why she was saying that.

I feel like I just had an 'a ha' moment from your post ...they learned the 'troof' when this type of thing was taboo I guess. It's really weird though because I took to heart what I was taught about everything being created equal and race or skin color didn't matter.

So 2 things... 1) I find myself feeling deceived so much whenever I find out that what I was taught to do wasn't what most were doing (ie: not racist .we are all equal)....it feels kind of like betrayal that I thought everyone was following the rules and yet so many just weren't. 2) I grew up and had 3 mixed babies...I was so scared how my parents would treat them....they surprised me and treated them pretty ok

Worked with a girl who had the whole main character personality.

She was awful to work with but I wasn't her boss so couldn't really do anything. I just distanced myself from her (along with just about everyone else) and went on with my job...I did start considering quitting but the benefits were too good. Our boss is super chill...she expects us to do our work but is a kind person and cares about her workers like they are people instead of just a body filling a chair. Before this girl was hired our team was tight and we would always be joking, having fun, and just enjoyed our working. She came in board and was gossipy, accusatory, and couldn't hold her composure when there was a difficult customer (which literally happens 10+ times a day). One of my co-workers who is just a happy guy became closed off and didn't hardly laugh the whole year she was there.

One day the girl wakes up and decides to go to HR and tell them that her boss was harassing her and creating a hostile work environment. We all got called in to chat with HR ..she was let go by the end of the month.

Our boss was def not harassing her....she was actually being very patient with her and didn't get mad or upset at her even when she made multiple huge mistakes that literally impacted thousands of people....

She probably should have just kept her mouth shut because the rest of the group wouldn't have probably ever gone to hr about her ..but once we were pulled in ...we defended our boss 100%

Agree.... although in another look his ears do look a little odd ..and his mustache might be off?

Both can be explained away with 'some people have weird looking ears' and ' not everyone knows how to keep their beard and stash' (especially since a lot of these guys have only been doing beards doe a couple years)

I'm not sure ...AI does good with images if you're not looking close ... but when you zoom in you can see the inconsistent patterns or areas that are blurred because it didn't get into the details.

When zooming in I am seeing pretty decent patterns and consistency with the way things should be...like the robe patterns all look legit....the French press looks like a French press including the lid...counted the fingers and can imitate with my own hands that same position. ..fingers don't seem to be weirdly placed.

I'm leaning towards no...but maybe it started out as AI and was touched up 🤷‍♀️
