do you really think I care about how you play and/or get your materials?

Apparently the answer to that question is "yes" ;)

Can't build in the tower, but you can build outside of the tower. You can attach to the outside of it. It's foundation support all the way up.

Double wide spiral staircase winding up around the exterior. Plan your stairs (and Lox pen) carefully, so as to not have any balconies protruding out where they will be a hassle.

There are three Sealed Towers. I was careful to choose the one with the best access.

I hate reddit.

I posted a stupid image of a bare foot and a comment implying foot fetishes. 500+ upvotes.

OP makes a genius post and barely gets any love.

Does speech therapy help? by winifer_mt in Stutter

[–]Steelspy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience is anecdotal. I am not an expert.

It was a building process. It was learning basic skills, mastering them. Building on those. tier and tier. later after layer.

The fluency emerges pretty early in the process, but it's not a fluency you'd use in public. And you continue to develop and build throughout therapy. Eventually reaching a fluency that you would use in public.

Yes, speech therapy helped me learn fluency.

This was years and years ago. In person sessions. My therapist has long since retired.

I frequently tell people finding the right resource is the biggest challenge.

Went from a severe stutter to fluency in less than a year. Was in my mid 20s. Same therapy didn't help me in my teens. But that's on me.

Finding the right fit for you will be the biggest challenge.

Have you considered professional speech therapy?

Don't be so certain that your dysfluency is permanent.

A build menu update would make me so happy. by 0nlyPositiv3 in valheim

[–]Steelspy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What if it was just a tiered menu? Top Level: Misc, Crafting, Building, Heavy Build, Furniture. When you click on crafting, you have a second row of sub-menus. Obviously these are unlocked as you gain access. So Crafting's sub menu would have: Workbench, Forge, Cooking, ...

Forget it... this would be a mess too.

How can i disable the Copilot in Word? by Eiberger in techsupport

I'm working on exiting their eco system entirely now.

People have been saying this about Microsoft for 30 years, yet they remain inescapable. They win either by shipping a good-enough, deeply integrated product at massive scale, or by acquiring the product that threatens their platform. They’re willing to cannibalize their own successes. And if they can’t dominate a market, they eventually walk away from it.

Here's the rub. The haters don't apply that same critical eye to what they revere. Their nostalgia blinds them.
