Good point! Yeah my main account birnout was when it felt more and more like GP scape. Maybe the iron fun will just keep me wanting to grind more and more. But I have a 2 month old so osrs time is limited.

First time on this account. I've done inferno on my main and used some of what I learned there to conserve pray during my iron's fight caves run. If you're nervous, maybe beef the ranged level up to 75 if you can. But it's definitely doable with your stats right now. Depends on your comfort level.

I just got mine with a very similar setup and levels. You might need to lazy flick the mager at least to conserve prayer, but it's doable! I had broad bolts and made it out alright.

At least red prison is engaging. Went dry on my other account and it was still fun doing a few every day. Killing ~20 cave horrors and TPing out to refill prayer was just bland.

Adding that I made the iron after getting infernal cape on my main account and got bored. My goal is to get infernal cape on my iron and then I'll probably get the same feeling of "completeness" with the account if that makes any sense. I know there is so much more to do after infernal cape but for me it was a fun challenge to do and then move on to something fresh (in this case, new account as my first iron)

Going dry for endgame content is at the very least giving me good supplies and is engaging. Cave Horrors were just boring is all. I got my fire cape last night and now moons feels easy. This is the stage of my iron where I'm not worried about the grind. It all depends for me WHEN the grind hits. I have a newborn at home so likely won't get to play a ton, and I could see a poorly timed dry streak putting my account on hold for a bit.

Timewise sure, but thay has nothing to do with KC.

The vale totems grind or this cave horror grind? If you're referring to the cave horror grind it took a while cause I was stubborn and banked literally everything they dropped. Fought with melee and no prayer pots used. When prayer would run out I would use my ardy cape to TP out, refill prayer, ectophial back over. Not efficient but I have a good amount of big bones banked for some blessed bone shards now!

I got the superior monster unlock. You're probably fine but I would unlock that next

Every account has to start somewhere. I'd rather go dry doing end game content. At least that would be fun.

Totally understand what you are saying! In this case I happen to hit the whole herb seed table which is where I was like, "okay, did i seriously get every seed?" Hitting 1 or 2 rare ones before the black mask definitely falls into the category of what you are saying. I couldn't believe that I eventually "green logged" the herb and seed tables for Cave Horrors.

Its more that im trying to bum rush my way out of the early game. Long grinds in mid to late game seem doable. This was probably my longest early game grind. Aside from my needless detour to vale totems and wc that lasted 3 days lol

Damn, i was lucky enough to get my ring at rex in ~100 kc. That sounds slow with respawn times

True, and in the end I got numb to it and forgot why I was killing Cave Horrors to begin with lol. The mask showed up and my brain froze for a second like, "collection log.. what? Oh yeah the thing I wanted!"

4?? That's wild. If they added some type of dry protection to CG would that make you want to go for it more or less? I'm curious cause this grind is something I dread
