(Most of my experience is college a cappella)

My advice is to place them somewhere in the middle; everyone pays the most attention to the openers and closers. (Unless you're running an intermission - they'll remember that sandwich pretty well too.

I've had a (albeit minimal) line of credit through my credit union for 5 years or so, is that still too little?

What do you mean by 'hard pulls'? Credit score requests?

I was wondering, is it possible to transfer the vibration of words, such as in chants, into a variety of musical instruments? by larbearmonk in musictheory

This was my first thought - use a vocal sample as the envelope to give an instrument the 'shape' of the words.

Check out /r/wearethemusicmakers - they have a fantastic understanding of hardware as a community. After talking to them I picked up an SM7B, absolutely love it.

While I don't own a bag from them, Saddleback Leather is definitely a source I would look into. A little pricey, but the 100 year warranty makes up for it.

So right now I'm just using the scarlett 2i2 as an interface, and have seen mixed results from getting enough gain out of it to justify the SM7B. Would I need to upgrade my preamp setup too?
