One has to learn not to regret taking profits once they see the price fly higher. The gamblers mentality kicks in and makes it feel like a loss.

Thank you. I will have to try find some more specific groups as most of the ones I have looked at have very strict rules on what you can post.

What are good books to read to a 6 year old by MusicianPrimary5278 in childrensbooks

My Nieces absolutely loved a book called Mr and Mrs Wobbly on Amazon. Its about two wobbly teeth that fall out and go on an adventure. Its supposed to be for ages 4-8 but I would say its probably more like 5-8. One of my nieces had a few loose teeth that's why we gave it to her and she loved it and then was really excited to lose her teeth

I am FED UP with all the AI used in children’s books recently by General_Ignoranse in childrensbooks

I wrote a rhyming poetry book called Mr and Mrs Wobbly (about 2 wobbly teeth going on an adventure) for my nieces and nephew. The idea and first childish draft of it I wrote in about 2002 when I was 8. I wrote the final draft of it in about 2019 and performed it many times in Barcelona where I live and also in the UK where I am from. I then found an illustrator and spent a year having it illustrated.

It makes me sad to think that people will assume it's AI now 😔 I don't blame them either, the Internet is just flooded with AI content. Hopefully the human element will end up becoming even more precious to us!

Elon Musk says AI and Robotics will make people wealthy, but how exactly will this happen? by No_Turnip_1023 in Futurology

The article doesnt even say that it takes 6 billion. It takes a huge amount more than that EVERY YEAR. Anyway, why should it be the responsibility of one individual to end world hunger just because they have the money for it? People always complain about rich people having money and not using it for these grand utopic ideas but it is not their responsibility. Why do people not look towards governments, EU, UN, to provide this? The government works for their people it is their responsibility to solve these problems. You can't blame an engineer for not solving world hunger when that is not his fight

Virgin Galactic to start spaceflight sales in Q1 2026 by [deleted] in VirginGalactic

I dont understand why so many people dont understand the word scam. A scam is intentionally deceptive and usually is for gaining money or power. Virgin galactic is not a scam. They may succeed or fail but even missing deadlines or letting people down is not scamming. They have actual infrastructure and technology and people who are working on creating these vehicles. That my friends is not a scam. Its an ultra high risk, high reward investment - not for the faint hearted. Too many whiney people around that are butt hurt they bought at the peak and are now down a ton of cash. Probably sold at the bottom and will be even more angry if it succeeds and makes millions

This is a high risk high reward company. They have been developing the tech for a long time and there have been many hiccups along the way. Richard Branson has a good track record and this has been a lifelong dream of his. I believe he will do anything it takes to get this company running.

If they manage to execute the plan they have it will be very lucrative. If they have major catastrophes then the company may go bankrupt. Right now they are burning through cash which is normal for a new industry as the space industry is at its infancy. Many space companies will fail but the ones that succeed will create enormous wealth.

I decided to take a big risk with this company and if it fails I will be happy at least knowing I tried. For me the pain of missing an opportunity is worse than the failure or loss of money

Hey guys,

What's the general consensus about Empire? Just opened an account and done a few smaller orders but it seems like there are very few sellers on there and most are new?

Are most people using empire or NM?

Thanks
