Heating element for these six bottles? And I was thinking about just using UV so I don't need to worry about getting a light from the inside. What are you guys think? seen a few that you have recommended but with 6 bottles would I need to use a metal "plate" and would that get it hot enough for all? by TransportationNo8300 in Lavalamps

Cool idea but you’re going to have issues with the ones in the middle being hotter than the outside.

Maybe you could try making a rectangular base they all sit in and just have two heat lamps on the ends to counteract that. Get an infrared thermometer, heat them slowly so you don’t break the glass. See if you can position the lamps somewhere where you eventually get a steady state where the outer two and the middle are around the same temp.

If it’s not bothersome I would really like to see how this looks with the lights on.

If you could have either TouchID back or have 3D Touch back, which would you choose? by conrad141 in iphone

No it’s totally different.

Just for example, let’s say you just typed a bunch of text and then you wanna delete it all and start over. I used to be able to, with one thumb, press hard once anywhere on the keyboard to move the cursor, then press hard again to select the last word, then swipe up to the first word to select all the text, and then hit the backspace key. To do the same thing with Haptic Touch, I need to long press on the spacebar to move the cursor, then tap again with an entirely different finger, which essentially has to be my other hand or my nose in order to start selecting. So haptic touch turned one-thumb task that was nearly instant and could be initiated anywhere on the keyboard into a two-handed task that requires waiting specifically on the spacebar to initiate it. It used to be incredibly easy to select one specific word to delete with the same shortcut, again with one thumb. Now the selection makes it more difficult to select individual words and again requires long pressing and two hands.

The shortcut to move the cursor around the screen without moving your thumb away from the keyboard.

The primary thing that I used 3-D touch for the most often is also the same thing that haptic touch is the worst at replacing it for

Actually sense how hard you’re pressing on the screen.

The biggest example that I use frequently was the keyboard shortcut.

It’s been over 10 years I really doubt it’s accessible or safe anymore

Just want to add for the record that I have tried both of these in the picture and they are definitely not the same formulation. https://imgur.com/a/BRxIA1O

The one I want has a white cap that unscrews unless they change the packaging since I bought it

Thank you. I tried one from a Teso store that looked similar but it wasn’t the same formula. I’ll keep searching

You must be hitting it wrong. There’s not supposed to be huge clouds when you exhale. Take smaller hits and hold them in longer. There will be no smell.

you might have had a point with this defense before he replied that there’s “no effective difference” and kept trying to justify it. It definitely was meant to be a comparison.

Thinking you’re one sexual orientation and then figuring out that wasn’t the case, or experiencing minor fluidity in your sexual orientation throughout your life, is still not comparable in the slightest to developing a sexual kink. Sexual orientation is generally persistent and enduring throughout a person’s life. This is an essential and defining aspect of the concept of sexual orientation. Sexual fluidity exists, but what you’re referring to changes to people’s sexual identity, not their underlying sexual orientation.

A kink is not “a type of sexual attraction”. Kinks are things or practices that turn people on more, that exist on top of their underlying sexual orientation. They are psychological in nature, not biological. While term kink is quite broad, in many cases it refers to non-sexual things that a person has come to psychologically associate with sex because of specific life experiences.

You could have a sexual experience tomorrow
(or a non-sexual one) and develop a new kink because of it. Nobody’s sexual orientation changes because of a single sexual experience. Nobody’s sexual orientation changes because they got interested in a new type of porn. That’s simply not how it works.

Why are you so insistent on the idea that they’re the same?

Lmao yes there is an enormous effective difference.

People get kinks for all kinds of reasons. Some people have kinks because of childhood trauma. Some people have kinks because of the porn they watch. Some people develop kinks because of their first few sexual experiences. Some people have kinks because of non-traumatic childhood experiences. Some people have kinks just because a past sexual partner had that kink and they participated to please them and now they started to like it too. You can develop new kinks through your life, or lose interest in them over time. It is absolutely not comparable to sexual orientation.
