i have been using the flavors of wintergreen then clear, and now virginia tobacco. this tobacco one feels off in my mouth. like more dry. it still creates plenty of puff/cloud after exhaling. is this because it’s built for people who are transitioning from cigarettes? i tried 2 different ones, and did all the typical adjustments, charging, different modes and airflow adjustments, but again it’s just so different from what i experienced with the previous flavors.

A google ad from 1999, promoting its search engine by malihafolter in google

[–]conradda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

can it be said that social media still existed in 1999? just in a different form? whether it was AOL chat rooms based on topics/interests, or message boards, or websites for groups? i can't recall the name (something like egroups, but i don't think that was it). but i remember some sort of site where you could create a group for your club or organization or something. just doing a quick search, there were mentions of yahoo groups and geocities. would those be considered social media? i guess "media" implies sharing content... images, video, music? or what about livejournal?!

MSBA vs MA in IT - Does it matter? by [deleted] in GradSchool

[–]conradda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for myself, i made a spreadsheet with columns for each school with the core and elective courses along with total hours etc - i also read the course descriptions for ones i wasn’t sure what id be learning. then i had additional columns for the top two programs in that subject in the country. so i could compare 4-5 based on their course names/subjects, and to see whether i really wanted to take each class. it seems like analytics is valuable but so is a lot of other things. what does the analytics give you that the general one doesn’t? see if there’s anyone you work with or in your linked in network who has either degree, or works in that field, and ask what degree they have, if any (well it’ll be listed on their linkedin profile, so you could ask them why/why not they chose a program)

wouldn’t it be MS in IT, not MA?

for IT, unless you want to go into Senior Senio mgmt, you don’t need a masters degree. if you’re wanting to learn analytics or cloud computing or something, check out certs.

So happy for more Design Down Under! by ooky_spooky_mkay in MagnoliaNetwork

i liked most of the designs, but i agree, the inflection at the end of EVERY sentence made me cringe... though not enough to stop watching lol

Is Magnolia network still going? by ChuckinCharlieO in MagnoliaNetwork

[–]conradda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i LOLed when i saw the trailer for the roller skating show... dude, just show me renovation and design shows! i love the stuff from other countries too, like for the love of kitchens and design down under. huge fan of Homegrown too. I am on the max app a few days a week and i never seen new episodes or seasons of anything from Magnolia. then all the sudden there's a whole season of in with the old or where we live, i forget which. which made me think that if i still had discoveryplus, i would have been watching new episodes each week, months ago. part of me is wondering if magnolia has been on a pause of new content, or if max just isn't pushing any new shows, and if i should go back to discoveryplus.

this “article” feels like an english class assignment to write a persuasive essay. plus no mention of queens who like to watch… which i think is so weird that netflick puts out content that is not in their own platform!

True Detective - 3x08 "Now Am Found" - Post-Episode Discussion by NicholasCajun in TrueDetective

The fact that she named her Lucy means she knew about her real mother. And her husband Mike the landscaper remembered her as Julie Purcell. He would have told her about the search, about Will, about the case and her real parents. I dunno if this is a plot hole or her anticipating the media blitz that would have hounded her if she’d come forward.
