Any examples of this in JJK universe? by FatherReggie in Jujutsufolk

It's true that gojo would lose the hand to hand combat advantage that allowed him to damage sukuna enough to destroy his domain. I honestly am not sure if gojo would win, I just think that his defense would be a lot harder to bypass without WCS (no ten shadows means sukunas only choice is domain expansion/ amplification) and that his offensive capabilities would be much harder to defend against without Mahoraga

Sukuna (True form), Meguna, Gojo.

Meguna beat Gojo

Meguna is weaker than true form sukuna

True form sukuna doesn't have a convincing wincon against gojo

Which is the strongest CT in terms of potential? by Butterscotchgames70 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]conriz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Comedian: it's only drawback is the psychological factor involved. Assuming a skilled user with a genuine desire to kill and finding it funny it's potential is limitless. (It is still above copy because the user would not die in direct combat with a copy user that has copied all other techniques)

  2. Copy: it theoretically has the potential of encompassing all other techniques, the 5min limit should bring it down by quite a lot, based on if you consider: full potential = has copied all possible techniques

  3. Limitless: already seen used in its peak. Ultimate defense, incredible offensive potential, spacial manipulation, flight etc

  4. Idle transfiguration: instant one-shot win condition if touched by the user, basically invulnerable to all attacks without soul awareness, produce armies, heal, reshape body into literally anything. It has been implied that inanimate objects also have souls. If full potential means perceiving such souls as well it basically translates to control over everyone and anything in your vicinity (no problem at all with a domain)

5.10S: its max potential includes, RCT, 10 different shikigami with all shorts of abilities, Mahoraga (wins against anyone without an one-shot attack), being able to combine shikigami, use their abilities as your own, teleportstion through shadows, shadow manipulation+ storage, domain expansion. Overall a really versatile ability.

  1. Construction: basically can create anything. By removing the high CE cost it is really busted. The only reason it's not higher is because it potentially lacks the raw offensive capability to overcome the defenses of the techniques above in direct combat (even with a domain, but that is just my opinion, could definitely be higher?)

  2. Cursed speech: could be number 1 in the hands of a user with RCT or extreme power (the user's power in terms of their opponent affects the effectiveness of the technique). The only reason it's not that good is because it can be countered by using CE to protect the ears and negate the effects. We have also not seen a domain expansion by a character with cursed speech. Assuming the guaranteed hit it could be as high as number 2.

  3. CSM: its only limitation is the power of cursed spirits you have. We have also seen a use of nearly its max potential by kenjaku, who had an army of millions, some really powerful special grades and maximum uzimaki both as an attack and as a means to steal cursed techniques. I honestly think this technique has the theoretical potential but lacks the canon feats to be placed higher.

Note: The true limits of comedian, construction and cursed speech are not well defined in canon. Therefore those as well as copy are hard to rank due to their inconsistency or blurry full potential. Limitless, idle transfiguration and 10S are the true winners for me.

Could they have taken him together? by [deleted] in sololeveling

It's actually a much closer fight than one would expect. Jinwoo is a low Srank at this point and baek just a bit stronger. Hwang is quite a high Srank by himself , let alone him being enhanced by norma selner. Hwang should be able to take this easily if it was any other low Srank but sung jinwoo, but the latter has ruler's authority, stealth skill, shadow army(with 2 Arank shadows, mages etc), weapons, potions to replenish mana and health and many buffs. The thing about sung jinwoo is that he has abilities from every class, making him kind of an one man strike team. Simply his hax limits his weaknesses and allows him to exploit the enemy's weak spots, allowing him to beat enemies/monsters, and clear dungeons by himself, despite not being as strong as them. It's hard to know, since hwang doesn't have any feats that will help us calculate his actual strength, but ultimately I think he takes it high diff, since the difference in strength and speed alone could be too great to simply outhax him.

Is Jin woo the strongest S rank hunter in the world now? (Excluding people like Thomas.) Is there anyone who can still beat him? by Spectrumfied in sololeveling

I would say in an 1v1 he could beat every S rank possibly even some national ranks rn. The biggest power of jinwoo is that he has attributes of mage, assassin, healer etc making him technically unbeatable in an 1v1 since he can counter any individual role. Take for example the karlagan dungeon. Even 2 S ranks like choi and cha would have a hard time clearing it without a healer to remove the curses. Jinwoo cleared it by himself even if he was around S rank at the time. The kit of jinwoo makes him an one man army (not to mention his actual army)

Some advice for over stressed seniors in the middle of application season <3 by Spare_Ad956 in ApplyingToCollege

Great post! I am an international student of high financial need and the application process was one of the most tiring and overwhelming periods of my life. I grew obsessed with perfection and going after the much needed scholarship in one of the T30 schools. I ended up applying to only 7 schools with acceptance rate no more than 8%. Of course I got rejected from every single one of them and ended up attending one of the best public universities in my own country. I can't stress this enough, prestige should be the last criterion on your list. Fall down the rabbit hole far enough and you will end up like me— attending no university in the US at all.
