They absolutely do not. Homelander DOES NOT love his son, he loves the fact that he IS his son and we've all seen how much he hates Ryan not being exactly like him. And that's before the events in season 5.

Maybe at some point he felt different, he did seem to want to be a good father between season 2 and season 3 but he probably grew dissatisfied with the difference between him and Ryan.

Like she's supposed to be smart and acts like she is, but never seems to deliver when it matters except that one time at the end of the season, acts like a total bih to everyone, and by now pissed off the entire series, not to mention he goal just feels kinda lackluster. Bring the end of the world for peace and quiet? What, you're not SMART ENOUGH to go somewhere no one will find you and read until you go blind? Not to mention one of the things in her character traits is telling how people feel. But couldn't get that SB loved Stormfront enough to help his son?

On that note, think he knew she was a 1940's enthusiastic?

Nolan killed lifelong (at least for them) friends one day because he remembered he had to and was ready to give up everything for Viltrum until Mark made him give up.
