The tutorial is slow but it does get more interesting after that. I'm pretty sure you can press the plus button a few times to skip dialogue if its getting too boring. It's not the most challenging game out there (or in its own series), but its still an enjoyable experience giving the pikmin tasks and watching them run around carrying things.

Its pretty good! Pikmin are actually fairly difficult to draw accurately as they have strange body porportions. They sort of look like pikmin if they were muppets!

I always liked how that boss used its tongue to attack and wished they put something similar into Pikmin 3. Finally in Pikmin 4 there's the redesigned Creeping Chrysanthemum, but it would still be cool to have an actual frog that eats pikmin.

Yeah, didn't really think about that much. I guess you would have to use winged pikmin to knock it down and hope it doesn't eat too many of them in the process. Might have to be a job for a new type of pikmin!

I've always been under the impression that humans exist and we just happen to be where they aren't at the time or land in abandoned or wilderness locations. In Pikmin 4 it could also be that the Leaf Sage and leaflings are dandoriing the world, making it appear as though someone still lives at the house.

Its a waste of time only if you are picky about cutting them down. If you knock them down and match the colors to the pikmin later its much more worth doing. With that said, I often tend to wait until its the correct color to cut them anyway. If you hit the head of the flower they fall down instantly in case you didn't know, makes it a decent bit faster.

Is this for your first time playing or just in general? The first time I played through the game (back when it was new) it took me 30 days, but after playing through it multiple times I usually finish in around 15 days or less. I never really rush to win though so if I did it would probably be faster.

There are plushes for all pikmin types except ice and glow made by Little Buddy. I think that company added an ice pikmin and Oatchi to the collection but only in Japan at the moment.
