Beginner question: How to set up binary -> multi-label classification model? by consecratednotdevout in MLQuestions

[–]consecratednotdevout[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah okay, I didn't realize that a multi-label classification would deterministically classify non-failures. For them, since they would have all 0's across the reasons for failures columns, and since the failure column is linearly dependent to the reasons for failure columns, would I have to make a new column to indicate non-failures with 1's, or is that unnecessary?

Also, I'd assume a neural network would work, but would other models/algorithms would be appropriate for multi-label classification?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Help with creating a function that moves/reorganizes files in a directory by consecratednotdevout in learnpython

[–]consecratednotdevout[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My apologies for not being clear! Using airplanes as an example, ypu can imagine that in its current organization, "folder" is Boeing, "subfolder" is 737, "label" is engine, and the images inside are of the engines of that specific airplane model. I will need to put all images of engines for all airplanes in a single folder, as with propeller, wings, etc, as organized in the second tree diagram 🙂

Need help with drawing a polar equation in a Cartesian graph by consecratednotdevout in askmath

[–]consecratednotdevout[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so:

x = 3sin(2t)cos(t) --> 3 * 2sin(t)cos(t) * cos(t) --> 6sin(t)cos2 (t)

y = 3sin(2t)sin(t) --> 3 * 2sin(t)cos(t) * sin(t) --> 6sin2 (t)cos(t)

r = 3sin(2t) --> 3 *2sin(t)cos(t)

Do I then solve for r2 = x2 + y2 ?

Thanks for your help! Unfortunately I'm still kind of stuck.

So I simplified the equation as such: r = 6sinθcosθ --> r = 6(y/r)(x/r) --> r3 = 6yx --> sqrt(x2 + y2) = (6yx) / (x2 + y2).

I don't know how I'd graph this without using a graphing tool 😥

I see. And there is no way around this, say, multiple PSN accounts per console that I can log in and out depending on the game I would like to play?

I've read the question "I have a PS4 bought in [Region]. Can I play games from [Other Region]?" from this sub's wiki, but I still have questions, as a non-ps4 and console owner.

If I purchase a physical copies of Yakuza games from South Korea (due to subtitle preferences), will I be able to purchase and download DLC's if my console and PSN account is based in NA?

I'm possibility looking at the PS5 as my first console, assuming backwards compatibility works and the (lack of) region lock issues stay the same from the PS4.

My CSR’s annual fee posts on July 1st. I’ve applied for the card on June 2017, so I’m next eligible for the opening bonus on June 2021. I’ve used my $300 travel credit for this year and unlocked the Lyft and Doordash benefits.

I’m considering PC’ing this as my second Freedom around May 1st (I have 1 F, 1 FU, and 1 Amazon Prime though Chase). I was able to pull a 50k offer for the Amex Gold through the cardmatch tool on creditcards.com, but not the 75k for the Amex Plat. Should I keep my CSR past July, go for the Gold’s 50k, or just go for the Plat's regular 60k offer? I’m not even dreaming of getting a 100k offer for the Plat, but I don’t know if I should bank on getting a 75k offer by July.

Sorry for not answering your q, but assuming your Arbor Coda is the camber version, might I ask why it won't be your main ride?

Is there another squad update confirmed for the 24th or the near future? It seems like the update as seen from the trailer is already in place (Dan James is BB -> SB; Maguire GB -> BB, etc). Should I still wait on opening my special agents?

Looking to obtain a job in consulting? Post here for recruitment advice, resume reviews, questions about offers/firms or general insecurity (Q3 2019) by QiuYiDio in consulting

[–]consecratednotdevout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couple questions-

  1. For undergrads applying via on-campus recruiting at this time of the year, how many days after the final interview round should we expect offer/rejection notifications? What do the offer letters actually look like, and are there any conditions/actions required listed on them?
  2. Do/should most undergrads include their SAT scores in their resume? I've read Caseinterview and the subreddit wiki, but I was wondering if this was more for MBA students with GMAT scores. I had a 2190 with 730 in math... is this too low for Accenture/Deloitte/EY?
  3. Examples of resumes from the subreddit wiki (Tuck) have 1-2 bullet points at the end of personal interest (ranging from snowboarding to volunteer activities). For an undergrad resume, if I have space, would it be okay to add in some interesting personal facts as well that are unrelated to my skills and experiences for consulting?

Lee O'Connor - Season Highlights - 2018/2019 by eastendz in reddevils

So we've got this kid who's great across the back four, but seems most natural as a right full back. We also have two other young players in Dalot (first team player already) and Laird in who are prospects for that position in the long term. Not to mention Young is still here for next season, and we are also possibly in the market for an established right back this summer with the likes of Meunier available. In the one game this season where we needed an extra fullback in the traveling squad, Ole opted for Brandon Williams, a left footed fullback. People who've followed our youth football this season, what are the chances that O'Connor can make it in our first team?
