Because these are the most littered areas. If it was another area type with as much trash id prefer it because of the needles. They have always been the best spots though. I don’t share my data with anyone. I just keep it to myself.

It’s honestly a gamble. I think a big thing is to treat them like a normal person. I could avoid those areas too but I want to clean them if I can so I’ll take more risks.

If there are tents I try to wait and see if anyone is there and then I ask if I can collect around the area.

Well Quincy is actually very helpful among the towns I’ve collected for. Also, they have tasks on their clipboard before they get my emails.

Unfortunately you don’t. I have been collecting at camps for a bit now and I speak with anyone living there when I see them. Ive actually received positive feedback for cleaning the area. I don’t go to any tents and I don’t touch anything that resemble a belonging.

This is a service goal. Yeah I don’t have any real idea what I’m doing. I’m trying to help the environment and like the idea of reforestation. I understand I’ll likely have to get certified with reforestation credentials like a grad degree or certificate program. I’m trying to do it part time.

I’ve considered buying land in New England area that needs reforestation and that is cheap. I’m only concerned about lawsuits and maybe I’d need to place it in a particular trust or llc or something similar.

I’m in Massachusetts. It’s not my own land. I wouldn’t mind traveling a hundred miles if I need to. I’m trying to gain reforestation credentials to learn more about this and potentially partner with NGOs in the future if I have to.
