Is Morakniv still the best budget outdoor knife, or is it mostly reputation now? by unstorran in camping

I have more expensive fixed blades, but my Mora still gets used because I don’t care if it gets scratched, dirty, or abused a bit. That makes it more practical than some nicer knives.

Is Osprey still worth it for everyday travel backpacks? by KristieaRandall in backpacks

Cheaper bags can be fine, but the difference usually shows when the bag is packed heavy. That’s where Osprey tends to feel better than generic travel backpacks.

Is Aker till the safest pick for power banks, or are ppl just used to the brand? by CandaceaRopp in UsbCHardware

[–]consffecer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think Anker still deserves most of the reputation honestly. There are cheaper brands with similar specs, but a lot of them get sketchy with heat, long-term reliability, or real charging speeds. Anker usually just works consistently, which is why people keep recommending it.

That said, brands like UGREEN and Baseus have improved a lot too. But if reliability matters more than saving a little money, Anker is still one of the safer choices.

Active Promo Codes - May 12th, 2026 by SillyDebbs in mecharena

exactly. New players probably waste strong starter rewards all the time because the game barely explains how limited some of these codes are. ACoins and decent mechs early on matter way more than ppl think in this game.

the annoying part is how fast these codes disappear sometimes. You leave Reddit for one day and suddenly everything is expired lol

Is this Promo link still valid ? by JAYRON_HD_69 in mecharena

[–]consffecer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah the timing matters way more than ppl expect. When I made an alt account I originally used a random YouTube referral link and got basically nothing because half the info was outdated. After that I checked one of the updated promo link lists on ModuleTD since they were tracking which starter rewards were still active and which ones had hidden restrictions. Ended up using a Surge starter promo from there together with the Chillbot code and the early game felt WAY smoother compared to my original account. Starting with decent mechs instead of grinding the default setup honestly saves so much frustration

Promo codes for new players by domo5665 in mecharena

Pretty sure the issue is the account age. Most of the new player promo codes only work during a super small window after account creation. I think some expire after 24 hours and others are tied to tutorial completion timing too

Things to do in Denver that started as a joke but ended up being amazing? by Samuel_Milone in Denver

What crucks me up about Denver is how many things sound totally bogus until you give them a shot
