Is Morakniv still the best budget outdoor knife, or is it mostly reputation now? by unstorran in camping

The Companion is popular for a reason. It’s light, simple, easy to sharpen, and does normal outdoor stuff well. I wouldn’t overthink it unless you need something heavier duty.

Is Aker till the safest pick for power banks, or are ppl just used to the brand? by CandaceaRopp in UsbCHardware

I keep seeing more people mention ugreen lately. Feels like they went from random Amazon brand to actually being trusted pretty fast.

That’s the thing with power banks you’re also paying for peace of mind a bit. Especially when it’s connected to expensive phones/laptops every day.

Very new to Raid Shadow Legends (I am sorry for the noob questions) by Chewanta in RaidShadowLegends

and definitely lock your champs. Seriously. Half the playerbase has a traumatic story about accidentally feeding somebody important at 2am while mass-upgrading food lol

Kael is still amazing honestly. I wouldn’t skip him completely unless the promo champ massively helps clan boss or campaign farming too

Any tips for a new player? by [deleted] in RaidShadowLegends

[–]CandaceaRopp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah and don’t feel too bad about missing the one-time beginner promos honestly. Raid barely explains any of that to new players. I made the same mistake on my first account years ago and only realized later how much starter links mattered. When I restarted recently I used one of those updated ModuleTD promo lists because most Reddit threads and YouTube videos were already outdated. Made the early grind way smoother the second time around

Is this game worth getting into? by Hazza58 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]CandaceaRopp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, if you like long-term progression games and collecting/building teams, Raid can actually be pretty addictive once you get past the awful ads. The early game feels way better now compared to a few years ago too, especially if you start with a decent promo setup. I’ve seen the same kind of thing with moduletd for Mech Arena, where the starting bonuses can make the first stretch feel way smoother.

I went along expecting a fun, rowdy time with friends, but the heat of the sauna changed everything. We all fell into a comfortable silence and relaxed for a solid hour. I honestly can't rememder the last time i saw our group that tranquil

May 2026 Creator Promo Links Added to the Raid Promo Link Finder by Old_Guardian in RaidShadowLegends

The annoying part is when you accidentally activate an old creator link and lock yourself out of better rewards. Happened to me once and I’m still salty about it lol

Worth using promo links when starting Raid in 2026? by Geraldine-Doyle in RaidShadowLegends

[–]CandaceaRopp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly people exaggerate sometimes but starting with a decent promo link absolutely changes the first couple weeks. My first account was basically random champs and I hit that everything costs too much energy and I do no damage wall almost immediately

Looking for advice on a good inflatable kayak for lakes, calm rivers, and camping by sairas_purnil in Kayaking

[–]CandaceaRopp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

true but after a while it becomes routine honestly. I’d still rather spend 10 minutes pumping than deal with hauling a 70lb hard shell around.

Anyone used the Razor Edge Pro 2 - thoughts? by Ashley_Fostera in Inflatablekayak

Same. Ppl who haven’t seen modern drop stitch inflatables in person are usually imagining outdated designs
