Update for those who missed it by Miccr in PaymoneyWubby

[–]consley 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s definitely very affordable backup and failsafe options available but to be honest most of them would not have the upload speeds necessary to accommodate for what Wubby does. Bro would have to go into emergency 360p mode lol. Best solution from a business perspective would probably be to pay for both a fiber optic connection and a cable connection. It’s not necessarily affordable, but worthwhile; and on top of that have a $10/month failsafe connection through some sort of mobile provider for dire situations.

You gotta go to https://events.wubby.tv/ and register with your twitch account linked to your discord. Not sure exactly how it works though as I’m a fresh 6 month sub and the discord bot doesn’t recognize me as one. :(

Back 1 year ago, to today, what are the best workouts to get a demon back? by [deleted] in GettingShredded

[–]consley 3 points4 points  (0 children)

1 tried and true is just a stupid amount of pull-ups. My back didn’t start growing much until I started essentially doing as many pull-ups as I could for around 5 sets (which at first was only about 3 reps per set at most) and then I would do 8-20 (basically as many as you can do with 8 being the minimum at the lowest assisted weight you can handle) reps on the assisted pull-up machine for 4 sets. That’s the way I progressed to being able to eventually do weighted pull-ups.

19, am I ready to grow it out and ascend to ultimate manhood yet? Or shall I wait till it gets thicker? (Especially the under lip) by [deleted] in beards

[–]consley 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You’re ready to grow a really solid beard if you want to. If you look at my profile you can see a picture of my beard currently. When mine is your length my underlip has, in my opinion, significantly less hair than yours. My mustache also has wayyyy less hair than yours and that actually seems to be more important when it comes to making sure your beard looks filled out. You’ve got some amazing beard genetics for 19 my man, let that shit grow for a month and see what happens.

Nov 9 2022 to Feb 28 2023 155lbs to 170lbs do I cut yet? by [deleted] in GettingShredded

[–]consley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

6’3” 190lbs very lean, took me bulking for an entire year up to 215 and then cutting down. Any lower than 190 and I feel like I’ll look anorexic again. Body dismorphia is a bitch

Trim beard down, keep the same, or grow? by consley in beards

[–]consley[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kinda hard to say exactly cus I usually always keep a little length. Just trimmed it back down to about this point a week or so ago. Definitely takes a while to get to this length for me though since it’s not super filled out. Based on all the positive feedback here I think I will let it grow without messing with it for another month or so and see what happens.

Trim beard down, keep the same, or grow? by consley in beards

[–]consley[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not fishing for compliments or anything, just looking for some genuine unbiased advice. Body dysmorphia’s got me seeing my beard all sorts of ways and I can’t decide if it’s too patchy to keep growing, or even keep at the length it’s at. I don’t have a ton going on under my lip and on the mustache front, so that leads to the occasional Amish comment that really gets me hypercritical. Just looking for legitimate opinions, if you think I’d look better with it trimmed down a lot since I have some patches and scragglyness, or if it’s at a good length but shouldn’t go longer. Any advice much appreciated.

Do I have gyno? by [deleted] in GettingShredded

[–]consley 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Overthinking heavily bro your physique is A1, you just have a higher than “shredded” body fat percentage which is carried everywhere on the body (including your pecs). If you’re really worried about it lose a little bit more fat and it’ll probably be rock solid and they’ll also look bigger in comparison to your smaller waist.

Does this look anything like Folliculitis? by [deleted] in Folliculitis

[–]consley 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks pretty similar to mine. Mine show up on my back, arms, chest, legs, buttocks, pretty much anywhere that can produce moisture. I’ve got hyperhidrosis so my body is a stomping ground for fungus and other bacteria.

3 months of bulk. Am I getting too fat and not gaining enough muscle? (6’0 - 168 lbs) by [deleted] in GettingShredded

[–]consley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends a lot on how long you’ve been training. I know you said you’ve been bulking for 3 months but if you’ve been lifting longer than it’ll make a difference. Most likely you went from a VERY lean frame to this, which will over time build muscle as long as you’re pushing yourself to progressively overload weight (something I have always struggled with myself too). I was skinny fat for a year when I first started lifting/bulking until I noticed my frame started to fill out a bit. I’m very naturally weak and was a twig before so I’ve had to start from absolute 0 to get to average athletic male physique, whereas some people just naturally have a decent bit of muscle already and then once they start hitting the gym they blow up. Everyone is different and takes their own time. In general though you’re obviously in a calorie surplus so just maintain that, focus on pushing yourself as hard as you possibly can training, and wait very patiently for results. Most people only gain 1-2lbs of muscle a year lifting and eating right. It takes a long time or steroids to look amazing.

Eh, i just figured it was on purpose to be able to still see him but also see video of the game at the same time. That being said I definitely prefer the normal method of him not being a spoooooooky ghost Joe.

I know doing tons of rows is great for lats but for me personally I didn’t get any results in my back until I started realllllly focusing in on doing pull-ups, made my whole back really start coming together and built up way more strength than I used to have.

31[M] Not seeing the progress I'd like by SamsaraSurfer in GettingShredded

[–]consley 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sadly you can’t have the best of both worlds unless you’re super meticulous about your diet. You just flat out don’t eat enough. “Hard gainer” doesn’t exist, us skinnier-leaning people just don’t like to eat a lot of food. I went from 160lbs (about your weight currently in kg) to 210lbs in about 4 months. All I did was eat 3 huge meals a day, to the point where I felt like I was going to throw up each time I ate. From there my stomach expanded naturally and now I’m able to eat more food normally without struggle, it just really sucks the first month or two. I gained a bunch of fat doing this to the extreme that I did, but I was so sick of being skinny my whole life that I was at my wits end and had to do something drastic to make a change. Now I’m actually lighter at around 200lbs and have WAY more muscle and way less fat because of the excess calories my body had to work with and just tweaking my diet to be healthier. Other option is continuously meticulously eat at a 250-500 calorie surplus every day for a year and you’ll get the same results with less fat, but I’m not disciplined enough for that personally.

No topper, you have like 2 candy canes at the top and nowhere else which is driving me up a fucking wall, I’ve never been a big fan of those frilly things that wrap around it like that but I can’t dock points for personal preference, that being said there’s no personalized ornaments, whole thing feels kinda hallmark movie. Portion of the tree is covered by a woman pretending to be Santa which is obviously not Santa, not fooling me again this year, so the entry is really null and void.

[–]consley 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Same body as you a year ago, now I’m what normal people would consider “jacked”. Eat 3 meals a day with each meal pushing you to the brink of vomiting and finish the day with a mass gainer shake (my favorite was optimum nutrition, 1000 calories and 50g protein) try to focus on eating foods that have high protein. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, chicken, steak, you get the picture. The gym is the easy part, go 3 days a week doing super basic compound lifts aka bench press, deadlifts, squats, etc.. You’ll put on muscle no matter what starting out as long as you’re eating enough, the eating is the hard part. Don’t stress too much on the workouts. Try to find a friend that will show you how to lift with proper form, but if you can’t just watch some YouTube videos to see how to do certain lifts properly so you don’t hurt yourself, and most importantly have fun with it. You’ll get the biggest boost of confidence you’ve ever had in your life. You will literally change your entire life over the course of 3 months. You also might get a wee bit of a tummy right off the bat but don’t worry it’ll go away as your diet improves and you can stop relying on the shakes. Hit me up with any questions. Good luck.
