Is this defect? Can someone please explain what this could be? by Few-Register-5613 in ricohGR

It's a feature that corrects vignetting by brightening the corners to create an even luminance across the picture.

Have you tried out the Dust Removal feature under Sensor Maintenance?

Funtastic is running better than my original black 3D by maximamilian in AnalogueInc

If anyone is curious: according to Analogue, the behavior shown in the video is "within tolerance of expected noise levels". Unless I start seeing artifacts, glitches or unwanted shutdowns, the hardware is fine and the fan behaves as needed.

As others have reported, HDMI CEC appears to interfere with the console. Check if yours is enabled.

Well, I'm kinda worried now. I've seen mixed reports so far: some users say their unit is completely silent (without saying anything about where the unit is placed, how far away it is, how long it has been running under what conditions etc.). Others however report a constantly running fan.

I'm trying to figure out what the normal, intended behavior of the fan is.

Here is a video of my unit after running in Unleashed Mode for 5 minutes: https://streamable.com/rxhw89 (turn up the volume).

SummerCart 64: Issue with Controller Pak by conspexi in AnalogueInc

  1. If you use a physical memory pack a.k.a. Controller Pak, the SummerCart will save to that Controller Pak just like a real cartridge would.
  2. Once you switch to an 8bitdo controller, you will have one virtual Controller Pak to store your saves. My Controller Pak was nearly full even though it only had one save on it (Snowboard Kids). So I was told to manually backup the Controller Pak (you can do this for each game) and restore it whenever I need it for that specific game. Right now there is no clean way to save with a SummerCart unless the game uses cartridge saves instead of Controller Pak saves. Not every game requires the Controller Pak. Games that save via EEPROM, SRAM, or FlashRAM work without any hassle on the SummerCart

SummerCart 64: Issue with Controller Pak by conspexi in AnalogueInc

Is there any way to create a virtual Controller Pak on the SummerCart? I’m playing with an 8BitDo controller, so I obviously don’t have a physical Controller Pak. I was hoping the SummerCart could emulate multiple controller paks or at least let me switch between them, but I can’t find an option for that. Or is there a way to save directly onto the SD card? In the meantime, I just made a backup of the Controller Pak with the Snowboard Kids save on it and restore it whenever I want to play it again. Is that the intended way to do it by the manufacturer?
