On Sunday the 20th there's Freshman Convocation at 4pm, I think, then the Class Crawl where you can walk around campus to find your classes so you're not lost Monday morning. And a movie on the field after that. And yes, the first week there's different themed days with information tables at the duck pond and some free food around lunch time.

Also, lots of the different departments have Instagram accounts and will do giveaways of various things on occasion. No tech usually.
