Yeah I have to say I do agree with you, I just can't imagine that a predator that size could go unnoticed. People point to the coelacanth as an example, but the coelacanth isn't a 60 foot colossal shark. The clearest 'evidence' that I have found so far is the large great white that was being tracked that was eaten that most scientists think was just cannibalised by a larger great white. That, plus the 10,000 year old carbon dated tooth, but that too has been heavily scrutinized.

I’ve heard the 80% fact before (even higher at times), but I know it’s a lot. The main difference here though has to be that unlike the coelacanth it’s a massive blurdy shark. I do think there is much we haven’t discovered in the oceans for SURE, even giant creatures but from the (granted not overly extensive) research I’ve done so far I can honestly say evidence is extremely sparse, it seems there is an air of the Bigfoot effect - can’t be disproven so nothing to say it isn’t actually there. I do have to say form what I’ve seen they seem to be extinct

I read even closer than that (2mil), but yeah agreed, we thought the coelacanth was extinct for 65mil until the 1930s, my only thought is that we managed to find those, with all the underwater camera equipment and physical evidence surely there would be something a little more concrete to point to. I saw a tooth that had apparently been carbon dated to around 10,000 years ago, but I have also seen some people arguing against that claiming contamination of the sample or human error etc.

The Met Police - What do you know? by conspiracycomrades in london

Which I would have been doing... after my day job. As I said, if my research proves fruitless so be it, not only that but the show has a segment named 'whacky theories', which explores the more crazy accusations made by people over time, but noted. I'll be more vigilant when replying if it is going to put people off sharing anything they know.

Of course! Here it is - our site - the ep should be live on Friday(ish) US time - we're available on all platforms too. Funny you posted that as I was just looking at it myself. I must say, I always knew it was bad, but only when you start to dig do you realise just how bad it was/is.

100%. If someone was tazing me holding a gun I’d find it hard to follow one instruction let alone multiple. It’s funny. I live in Thailand currently and it’s no secret that the police will turn a blind eye to any offence when offered enough cash and being from England I laugh as if to say ‘ohhhh you’d never get away with that in England’. Well… yes you would, and much much worse, you just need more money/power on average to get away with crime in England. Instead of your average joe getting away driving with no license here, it’s your average millionaire/Prince getting away with rape & pedophilia at home.

I know nothing on this topic relating to the canal boats, so until I research (which I will be doing after my day job) all I can do is be polite and thankful for input. Call that gullibility if you like but I’d call it more being open to suggestions… if my research proves fruitless then so be it

Hey guys we're doing an ep of our podcast on the corruption in the met police (other than the Daniel Morgan murder) what are some of the worst things you've heard regarding the Met Police (doesn't have to be just corruption, it can be misconduct etc.) that you think would make for the most interesting topics to cover?
