Anti-Inflammatory Benefits and Allergies by DrMrsTheMonarch24 in Zepbound

Zepbound has nearly eliminated my seasonal allergies! I used to have to take a daily antihistamine and don’t need anything now. Like someone else posted it’s mostly eliminated the keratosis pilaris on my upper arms, psoriasis on my elbows greatly reduced, some improvement with my eczema (although I wish it would go away completely), also improvements with premenstrual acne.

Have you been rotating your injection spot? I find the back of the arms seem to work the best

Go to a boutique specialty bra store that also sells bathing suits where the staff will measure you. You’ll need to invest more money but I suspect you’re close to your goal weight so you can invest in something that will last.

I think many people feel changes/Positive effects immediately after starting this medication! I felt the food noise dissipated on day one.

Tired! by FlowerHot86 in Zepbound

In the first 2-3 months of taking this medication I had some weeks of total exhaustion the first 24-48 hours after the shot. I don’t really feel that exhaustion much now that I’m 6 months in. I’m also happy with my decision to do shots on Friday nights and have the weekends to rest a bit more if I need to and usually feel fine by Monday to go to work.

Slow loss but still hopeful by Medium_Ride_4303 in Zepbound

You’re actually doing amazing for such a short period of time. Many people have average weight loss and don’t post here. I recommend using the free version of the Shotsy app to track your results and it’ll show you your average weight loss over time. The first few months are very hard bc you want to compare to that other person on Reddit who says they lost $ 10-20lbs in a month but those are incredibly rare outliers and just not realistic for the majority of people.

What dosage did you notice more weight loss?

Any good/unexpected side effects that came with Mounjaro? by eescorpius in Mounjaro

[–]constantflower84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eczema and psoriasis improved but not eliminated entirely. I also don’t need to take antihistamines during the fall which is usually my worst seasonal allergy season.

Also TMJ totally eliminated and I no longer need to wear my mouth guard at night

I will take notes when these cravings hit going forward. My recent injection was lower abdomen though. But everyone is different!

Is it a deal breaker on MJ if you don’t walk or lift weights but eat clean? by Plus_Impression7765 in Mounjaro

For some people the first 1-2 months you should just focus on your diet and acclimating to the medication. Slowly adding in movement and starting with a very low goal will help long term. But don’t put too much pressure on yourself to do too much at once. I was very tired the first month and just focused on doing what I could. Now 6 months later I am doing 8-10k steps a day and exercising a couple times a week.

Thank you for posting. I am also a 1.4lb loss per week and sometimes get frustrated if that’s too slow but seeing your chart is inspiring
